Author's Note: Hey, guys! So, I just need you to know this; Valentina is not a 'Mary Sue'; I just made it so she's really helpful and nice. I think any character that is a 'Mary Sue' is always happy and this chapter will beg to differ because you will see a completely different side of Valentina. I thought I should clear that up. Also, this chapter will have no drama because Zach is at the challenge. But now, onto the segment!

Valentina's POV:
I couldn't stop crying. This was all too much; people dying left, right and center, people wanting me to die, just... all of this bullshit was too much. Oli was trying to calm me down, as was Vanessa. Finally, I stopped crying and could talk normally.
"I just want to thank you guys for actually putting up with me for the past 5 hours, even if I have been a bad person..." I lamented, my mind in a fog.
I honestly felt like they were just putting up with me for the sake of them surviving, that the friendships I had formed... they were all just facades.
"Bitch, what the fuck are you talking about? You're a great help, don't get yourself down. Besides, Zach's just a filthy little bastard." Gear chuckled, causing me to giggle through my tears.
"Finally, we're getting along for once! Hallelujah!" Vanessa rejoiced.
I never thought that they saw this in me.
Sure, I saw them as allies and stuff, but I always felt that, deep down, they wanted me gone, that they weren't there for me. I thought they wanted to betray me, that they hated me.
But now, I finally see it.
They actually care, they actually want me to be strong.
They want me to survive tonight.
"Yeah, despite that, you guys don't think I'm a bad person? I mean, I killed Joey and Megan." I mewled, my head falling into my hand.
No, I'm not trying to get a sympathy vote, but when I'm really down, it takes a while to cheer me up.
But in times like this, I might be like this all night.
"Girl, if we thought you were a bad person, we wouldn't be in an alliance with you. Now, come on in, guys! Group hug!" Lana cheered, opening her arms,
We all ended up having a giant five-person group hug. Gear even kissing Lana on the cheek during said hug, causing me to brighten up more.
It's relieving that I have allies in these people.
I'm so glad that I don't have to be skeptical anymore.
I'm so glad... that I can finally have nothing to fear or worry about anymore.
Well, except for the impending doom of death looming over us all the time, but... let's not discuss that, shall we?
We ended up discussing strategies and how we can get out of here for the time being. We even actually learned we all have a lot in common; I'm glad we can all trust each other.
But soon, we heard footsteps approach the lounge.
We were all hoping and praying that Zach wasn't coming back.
The door to the lounge opened, causing us to hold our breath...
