Sumire's POV
"I know you've had a graze with what true heroes have to deal with, but your fight isn't over yet." Aizawa Sensei announces at the start of class causing disconcertment among my classmates. "The School Sports Festival."
A mix of cheers and sighs of relief flood the room, a cocky smirk smugly adorns Katsuki's lips. Kiri and Denki stand excitedly shouting out their cheers.
"Uh, is that the best thing after a villain attack?" Mineta shakes in his seat.
"You weren't even there, Perv." Mina says scolding him.
"We need this to prove there isn't a threat and the strength of UA's security." Aizawa Sensei explains.
We're dismissed out to lunch, the cafeteria full of excitement and words of the sports festival. My energy levels skyrocket too; there's supposed to be an eclipse on that day, so I'll be at my peak power and not to mention able to use my other power. The future is looking up.
The next week consists of training and preparation for the festival during hero training until the day arrives.

2 weeks"Today's the sports festival, right? Monday May 4th?" Aunt Kotone asks hardly able to contain her excitement. "I've taken the day off work so I can watch!"
"You really didn't need to do that." I say as I lace my high-top shoes at the door.
"Of course, I did! I can't believe this is happening. I'm so proud of you!" she exclaims running over to scoop me into her arms with a breathtaking hug. "You're going to be amazing."
"Good Luck, Akichan! Beat Katsuchan to a pulp." Sora says entering the room throwing punches at the air in front of him.
I laugh kneeling down and opening my arms for a hug. He clumsily bounds to me throwing his arms around my neck.
I collect my stuff and make way out of the front yard and half run in excitement to the corner of the next street where Katsuki waits for me.
"Feeling pumped for today?" I ask enthusiastically jumping around him and skipping backwards. He puts his hands behind his head as he walks, seemingly unbothered by my high energies.
"It'll be a cake walk." Shrugging he puts his arm back down at his side.
I pout and roll my eyes at him, turning back around to walk correctly.
The walk is quiet as usual; it's a comfortable silence, no feelings of needing to fill it. We approach the gate as some of our other friends enter.
"We're gonna kick ass today!" Mina squeals jumping in the air.
Finally, someone as excited as me! This all so nerve racking!
"And a bunch of hero agencies will be watching so this will be our chance to show off our quirks! We could get offers as side-kicks for after we graduate." Her black eyes shine widely.
"It sucks we have to wear our sports uniform though instead of our costumes." Jirou adds disappointed.
"Perhaps that's not such a bad thing... Mr Explosive here likes to play with fire and blow up buildings." I look at Katsuki, placing my hands on my hips sassily.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY, YOU DAMN IDIOT!"
"YOU HEARD ME! YOU TRIED TO BLOW UP DEKU WITH YOUR STUPID GRENADIER BRACERS. I mean honestly how did the school even allow such an op weapon." I fire back at him. He clicks his tongue in annoyance looking away.
