Luca had cleaned up and ran the dishwasher after breakfast and left Jared to his own devices. He went off to take a much needed shower since he had wanted to go into work to check on the new shipment of car parts, but he'd have to call the managers, Mike and Riley to tell them to double check on everything for him. He'd stay home today to make sure that Jared didn't injury himself further and then go in to ensure that all was well with his business.

Luca turned on the shower, lifting his face and closing his eyes as the warm water washed over him, easing his tension.

Jared had tried to rest after breakfast since Luca had so ordered. He tried watching TV in the living room, but got disinterested then he went into his office and put on some music so he could relax on the couch. When only five minutes passed by he groaned, tired of sitting still and got up and put the music off. He stared at his desk, the desktop screen saver on as he chewed at his lip, his good hand on his hip. He picked up his phone and dialed Colin, this injury was halting his progress and he honestly didn't have a lot of work that he needed to be done on this case, but he still needed to get it done.

He glanced at the door of his office, Luca had been gone for a long time, so he was probably in his own office working since he didn't go in today. A smile crept up his face as Colin answered him on the third ring. An hour or two won't hurt, Jared concluded as he pulled out his chair and began searching through his filing cabinet for the case files that he needed to be working on. "Colin, so let's pick up where we left off."

Three hours later and Colin and Jared were flying through their work, as they chatted away about what needed to be done and who needed to be found, interviewed and so on.

"So, we're finally done here, well, correction. I'm done here. I've done my part Colin, the rest is in your hands." Jared stated.

"Pfft, yes, thank you so much, Jare."

"Yes, so don't call me unless it's serious."

"Oh, no, I think you've helped me a great deal. I'll owe you one." Colin said, a smile in his tone.

"Yes, you will. Goodbye."

"Bye." The phone clicked and Jared sighed and leaned back in his chair, his eyes skimming over the files. He checked the time and hummed to himself. "Where's my Luca?" He stood, gathered up the files, placed them back into the cabinet and left his office in search of his lover.

He walked down the hallway, hands in the pockets of his sweatpants as he saw Luca's office door ajar and heard his voice coming from the crack. Jared peeked into the office and saw that he was sitting at his desk on a video meeting with who he could only suspect to be the manager of his company.

"We need to call a few clients back, don't we?" Luca began, "tell them that they'll need to wait a few more days." The person on the other end agreed and Luca sighed and ran a hand back through his hair, biting at the inside of his cheek. He only did that when he was calmly frustrated or unsatisfied with something. The door creaked and Luca's dark green eyes rose to find his noisy boyfriend. A small smile replaced his chargin and he looked back at the tablet. "Mike, let's keep our eyes peeled for any emails about the replacement shipment and please restock the shelves and make sure the inventory that we did receive is all on record. We'll need to call the clients tomorrow about the delay, okay."

"Okay boss. Have a good day."

"Thank you, you do too." He ended his call and leaned back in his chair, twirling it from side to side as his fingers rolled a pen between them. His eyes were on Jared again. "Yes?"

He shrugged. "Trouble at work?"

The older man groaned. "Yeah," his voice seemed thicker, "we had some important car parts coming in today, but there was a recall of that shipment because of a missing part and the shipment will be delayed as they try to get us a replacement by the end of the week." Luca sucked at his teeth, "that means I'll have the pleasure of calling customers and telling them that their repairs will take longer than needed."

Jared almost giggled. "Oh, that isn't your fault though."

Luca half smiled. "Customers don't care who's fault it is, they just know that they can bitch and curse at the guy in charge. So, that'll be fun." He said. Jared pursed his lips and unfolded his arms as he walked into the office, coming to stand between Luca and his desk then leaned back on the edge looking at Luca. "Baby, you'll be fine. I've seen you de-escalate bar fight between drunkards. You're more than capable of dealing with a few upset customers."

He pondered on his boyfriend's words and nodded. "True, but this isn't a bar fight."

"Oh, hush. You'll be fine and if they wanna press charges, then your lawyer's right here." He said on a chuckle.

Luca smiled brightened as he reached out and pulled Jared into him. The younger man gasped and stumbled forward slightly before Luca's large arms came around his waist and he pressed his face to Jared's belly and sighed. "Were you working?"

Jared smiled at him and nodded. "Yes, but I finished what I needed to do with Colin, he'll be fine now." He said as he combed a hand into Luca's hair. Luca only hummed, and made Jared's belly quiver.

"How about we go for a walk?" Luca suggested.

"A walk?"

"The weather's nice. Some fresh air will be good for your hand."

Jared snickered at his boyfriend's words and hummed back, burying his fingers into Luca's thick dark hair. "Would it be odd to shower before we go?"

"No, course not, but I showered after breakfast." Luca said.

"Then take another one with me." Jared suggested.

Luca grumbled softly then loosened his grip on Jared's waist to stand from his chair. He towered over Jared, by only a few inches as he motioned him backwards until his ass touched the edge of the desk again. He caught Jared's gaze, the younger man had a hand on Luca's chest, and his other hand at his forearm. His blue eyes burning into the greens of his boyfriend’s eyes. Luca leaned in and pressed his lips to Jared's.

A moan slipped from his mouth. "Luca..." He gasped. His grip tightening on arm as he opened his mouth and let the other man's tongue delve into his mouth, urging another moan from him. The older man's hands dropped to his ass as he pulled him in closer, their crotches grinding together. Luca licked at his bottom lip then broke their kiss, trailing butterfly kisses down Jared's chin and then bent his head to run his teeth over his throat. "Fuck, Luc." He exhaled, lifting his head to welcome Luca's advances.

"Yes baby." He growled, sucking at his neck. He nudged Jared's chin up, his teeth chomping down at his throat while Jared's hands moved up to the nape of Luca's neck. "Baby, wait, fuck." He bit his lip as Luca sucked at his flesh. "Don’t leave a mark." He breathed.

Luca pulled off of his neck, panting heavy against his shoulder. "Okay, I'm sorry."

"D—don't be sorry... this is your office. You'd have to clean up any messes."

He chuckled, resting his forehead on his lover's shoulder. "Jerk." Luca whispered.

"Let's take that shower then." Jared insisted.

He nodded, letting his hands slip from Jared's waist and then he kissed him once more as he let Jared up from the desk. He reached out his hand for his boyfriend, and when he took it, he guided him out of the office.
