3: Nightmares come to life

"Well... we're vampires." 

The words ring in my head like a drum. Ok... so these oddly attractive very good looking guys just so happen to be vampires and that is somehow totally believable and I'm totally not freaking out and this vampire guy I just met is driving me home which is also totally not freaking me out and the fact that vampires are fictional characters has no weight at all whatsoever on whatever sanity I have left in me and I'm probably going to die so I may as well say my prayers and hope that Jesus Christ is listening because I don't want to burn in hell for the rest of eternity and I AM TOTALLY FREAKING OUT! "Hey, I know what I said is a lot to take in but you look pretty green. Are you ok?" I viciously shake my head and gasp for air. I forgot to breathe. 

"Your telling me that you and your brother things are vampires?" He frowns. 

"Yes, but we're not things. We're still just as human as everyone else. Just without the whole heartbeat thing" 

"Ok so I'm gonna die huh?" I let out a half choked laugh and Jungkook whirls to face me. 

"What?! No!" I bite my lip and shake my head. 

"Then wha-" 

"Look, some vampires feed on humans and we can't really control that as long as they aren't murdering like crazy, we still have to keep a low profile you know." He eyes me before continuing,  "But us, we don't feed on people if we don't have to, we take blood bags when we can get them and if we can't get those then we turn to animal blood as a substitute. It's not as sustaining but it holds us off." He pulls into my driveway and I bite my lip. 

"So your not gonna bite me?" He laughs. 

"No, not unless you want me to." He winks and I shudder. 

"Yeah no I'm good." He chuckles. 

"Well technically the bite isn't that painful, especially in certain situations." 

"What situations?" He smirks. 

"Sexual situations." I wrinkle my nose up and inch towards the door. 

"Eww gross." 

"What do you mean gross?" He furrows his eyebrows. "Sex isn't gross it's normal and very very pleasurable, or so I hear anyway." I stare. 

"Your a virgin?" I ask incredulously. He rubs the back of his neck and turns away shyly. 

"Not something I'm very proud of. My Hyungs tease me about it but I was always trying to save it for that special someone." If he could blush he'd be tomato red right now. I can't help but smile. 

"Awwe that's... really cute." I say he shrugs and turns his attention to me. 

"I guess I can assume you've never had sex either?" I shake my head. 

"Nope. And I'm not ashamed." I smile proudly and he laughs. 

"You are an interesting human to say the least." I frown. 

"Is that a good thing or..?" He grins. 

"Good. Definitely good." I smile. 

"Well thanks." I say. He nods and sits back. 

"Look, this may sound creepy and I'll probably get my ass whooped for saying anything to you but we're looking for a mate. We aren't actually brothers but we've been searching for someone to call our own. When we saw you in the bar tonight well, most of us already decided that we wanted you. It's not like you don't have a choice and I don't want you to feel weirded out but I figured you should know, and think about it. It's a huge decision to make and we aren't going to push any boundaries but..." He lets his voice trail off and looks at me eyes blown wide. I guess you could call it your typical puppy dog look, except on him it looks like a bunny rabbit look. It still works just as well. I tear my eyes away and sigh biting down on my bottom lip. 

"I just met you guys, I'm not sure that I can really give you a straight answer. You seem really nice and so did Jimin but I don't really know any of you. I think for now we can exchange numbers and the we'll go from there. Funny thing is I totally believe you and I don't doubt you at all but I can't just throw myself into this whirlwind of craziness just yet. I'm reckless but not that reckless." Jungkook smiles. 

"I didn't expect you too. I'm just glad you're even considering this. Most people would run away screaming but you seem to be taking this very well." I laugh. 

"I've learned over the years to not let things surprise me and after I saw Yoongi's red eyes, well I kinda had my suspicions to say the least. I wasn't exactly sure and at first I thought I was going crazy but after he laughed I was almost positive I wasn't. I guess you could say he helped me build up the stomach." Jungkook grins. 

"Well I'll have to thank him later, although he was also the reason you ran away so maybe not." It's my turn to laugh. 

"Your not really wrong but..." 

"Look, he's just a natural grump. He'll come around eventually just give him time." I bite my lip and nod. 

"Yeah, sure." After exchanging numbers and bidding our farewells Jungkook and I get out. 

"Well I guess I'll see you around." He smiles and I nod. 

"Yeah, I would offer for you to come in but you probably have to go." Jungkook nods. 

"Yeah, I've gotta be home before sunrise. The guys are waiting on me anyway." I look behind him and sure enough there's an suv parked right behind my car." I smile and wave. 

"Ok, goodnight." He smiles. 

"Goodnight Y/n." He flashes me a small toothy grin before hoping in the vehicle. I watch as they pull out and then turn for my window. I skillfully climb up and into my room and shut the window. Phew. What a night. I strip myself from my clothes in the dark and fumble around for my lamp. I pull on the string and jump in surprise. 

"Hello Y/n." I stare. 

"What-"

"I just stopped by to apologize. I got here before Jungkook, naturally on foot we're much faster than cars if we want to be. None of the others know I'm here. I'm assuming he's already told you everything. I kind of counted on that." I gulp. Lounging lazily on my bed is none other than Yoongi. He smiles at me and I bite my lip

"He told me the basics I guess." I say quietly. I quickly work to cover myself as best as I can. 

"No need for that sweetheart. It's not like I won't see you eventually. You see, all the others are already set on the idea of having you. I wasn't so sure but I can almost see what they're talking about. You are very pretty and the fact that you haven't screamed yet counts for something." He grins and I shake my head. 

" Was I supposed to scream?" He laughs. 

"No, it's quite impressive that you haven't actually." 

"Umm thanks?" He smiles. 

"Well I guess all's I can really say is sorry for being so rude earlier. I should really get going though. I'm not sure your parents would be thrilled if they woke up in the morning with me here. Not that I would mind staying." He grins and I shake my head. 

"No yeah, umm goodnight." He lithely springs to his feet and stops in front of me. 

"Good night." He plants a gentle kiss on my forehead and before I can even blink he's gone. Woah. What the hell have I gotten myself into?
