Jungkook was constantly practicing archery in the training yard. He came back from getting trained by a special instructor. Also, collected information from the enemy country.

"It's a shame that you keep hitting bull's eye and wasting the arrows", Taehyung said, chuckling at Jungkook. "Hyung!", he squealed. Jungkook was his cousin.

He lost his parents at a very young age. So the Queen mother brought him to the palace. Taehyung and Jungkook were named to be the Princes who would be eligible to take the throne.

Jungkook was competitive, but Taehyung was older than Jungkook. So, he automatically became the King.

"How was your training?", Taehyung asked. "It was good", he replied. "About our enemies?", he asked. "They will attack us any time or they may give up. They are weak", he said.

"That's good for now", he said. Taehyung trusted Jungkook blindly. He knew that he would never betray him. The same goes with Jungkook.

They kept talking about various things and discussing the government and official affairs. "Your Highness! The Queen mother summoned both of you to have lunch with her", a maid announced. "Tell her that we would be there", Jungkook replied.

"Family lunch", Taehyung scoffed. "What do you mean Hyung?", he asked. Kim Jong Mi returned from our grandfather's place last night. So, mother arranged lunch with everyone and also with my wife", he said.

Jungkook knew that Taehyung was not a very big fan of discussing his married life. So, he kept quiet. They both entered his mother's chamber. As expected, Jong mi, Yena, and mother were waiting for them.

"How was your training Jungkook?", mother asked him. "It went well mother", he replied. "How was your night Taehyung?", she asked. Everyone looked at each other with an awkward look. But Taehyung didn't mind. "Probably, better than any night", he said.

He purposely put Yena in a difficult situation, so that his mother won't bother him. She loved her daughter-in-law dearly. "Mother, why don't we eat?", Jong Mi changed the topic.

Jungkook felt bad for Yena but he was aware of Taehyung's feelings. Little did he know, someone else in the room was trying to shoot a cupid's arrow on him.

Jong Mi, the princess, the sister of Taehyung, always had a crush on Jungkook. She tried to express her feelings but all was in vain.

There was one thing uncertain about Jungkook it's she couldn't find out whether he didn't get her intentions or just pretend like he didn't know.

The awkward lunch finally came to an end. Everyone went to look after their work. Taehyung's mind strangely filled with you. He was standing on the balcony.

He saw his wife walking in the garden along with maids. "She didn't do anything wrong, but is it okay to punish her like this?", his inner self asked himself.

She is kind, not once complained about his behavior to her father. She never threatened him that she would destroy the family.

He was thankful for her. But his heart didn't seem to accept her. He didn't know whether she loved him or not. But didn't hate him.

"Women were always trained in the same, strange old way. History has strangely been recorded in the same way, except for a very few rare gems.

Those gems shined because some real male gem allowed them", Y/n wrote them in her diary. You didn't even know why you wrote, but it made sense. You closed the book. You saw your mother clearly in joy.

To be honest, she was empty inside. All she worried about was money. The older she gets she can't work. Men would never want old women.

So she tried to keep her face young. She was an innocent soul. You got an excuse from work tonight. You felt relieved. Finally, you could rest peacefully at least for one night.

As soon as you fell on the bed, the last night vividly played in your mind. The touch, the scent, the sound didn't leave your head. How hard you tried, you couldn't.

You once again traced your fingers against the marks. Instead of feeling the pain, you were aroused. It was torture for Taehyung too.

The soft mattress reminded you. He did fall asleep last night. But his face on your chest. Knowingly or unknowingly you securely held him in your arms.

The Great King felt love. Now it was hard to forget. The Palace was as usual quiet and dark in the night. But his soul was burning in desire.

The night wasn't over. But your house was surrounded by soldiers. "It's King's order to bring y/n with us", they said. Before you could process well, you were once again traveling.

But you were excited. You reached the same Inn. Once again in the same room. He was already sitting against the headboard. You bowed at him. "What's your name young lady?", he asked.

"Y/n", you replied. "Y/n, come here", he patted near him. You climbed on the bed and sat near him. You attempted to remove your clothes. "Wait!", he stopped you.
