Part 19

For a week everything was normal. You and Jong Mi trained together. Well, it's not like you two became close, it's just Jungkook who took you both to a private spot and gave training and made things less awkward for you.

Jong Mi was no less in power. She was absolutely stunning. You could see that Jungkook was impressed with her skills. You were relieved that he didn't concentrate much on you.

He also didn't bring up the conversation after that. You would always immediately leave after the tutoring session. Jong Mi asked you that as a favour once.

You had no reason to stay anyway. You were given the freedom to meet the King whenever you want to. But you didn't want to take over advantage.

Already, Queen mother was giving indirect warnings. As you were with Jong Mi and Jungkook most of the time, Taehyung was also concentrating more on the work with Namjoon.

Your practice ended a little early the following day. You came back to your room in the evening. You longer lived in a concubine house.

Instead, they gave you a small cosy chamber alone as you were now a trainee. Taehyung successfully removed your title concubine. But still, it doesn't make any difference among the people.

Once a concubine is always a concubine no matter what she does! You mindlessly thought something and entered the room. You were too shocked to see someone's silhouette.

When you opened the door fully, you saw Taehyung waiting for you. He smiled at you. You closed the door and went to him and hugged him tightly. You missed him a lot.

But you quickly realised and pulled away. "I am sorry, your Highness. I was just", you apologized for being reckless. "Hey! It's okay, you can be like that with me. I don't want you to treat me like everyone else", he said.

You looked at him. He made you sit on his lap. "So, how is the training going?", He asked. "Well, really good! But hard as well", you said. "Well, medicine classes are also hard.

Ms Jiya is very strict", you whined. "I will ask mother to go easy on you", he chuckled. "No no! As it's life matter, she wants to be extra careful", you said.

You tried to suppress your yawn. But he quickly noticed it. "Are you tired?", He asked. "No, your Highness", you opened your eyes widely. "Don't lie! Are you lying to the King?", he asked jokingly.

You just shook your head. You can't feel tired now. You never know when you can spend time with him again. "I am not your Highness", you said, but your body didn't lie.

"You should take a rest", he made you lie on your bed. "I don't want to, I don't know when will you come once again", you said.

He lied beside you. "Is it okay, if I sleep with you?", he asked. "Please don't ask me, you can do whatever you want", you said. "Whatever I want?", He raised his eyebrows. He pulled you closer.

He peppered your face with kisses. "You are working hard, thank you for accepting this y/n", he said. "It's my pleasure your Highness!", you blushed. "You have always been my safe place, so today I wish to reward you", he said.

"Don't do anything, just relax today", he whispered. He sat on the bed. He took off some of your clothes away. He softly massaged your body parts. You relaxed in his touch.

He pressed against your skin perfectly. "I am the luckiest girl in the world", you said out. You dozed off to sleep. He smiled seeing you.

"Y/n ah! Am I falling for you? Or just using you for my throne?", he softly whispered caressing your hair. He laid beside you. After watching you sleep for some time, he too slept taking you in his embrace.

Meanwhile, in Yena's parental house, her brother Min-kyu entered the house. His father welcomed him with great enthusiasm. "How was your training my son?", he asked.

"It went well father, this time I have returned stronger than Jungkook", he smirked. "That's my boy! Tomorrow we will visit the palace and I will make sure that you will stay in the palace!", he too smirked.

"Yes, also I didn't visit my dear sister for a long time, the renowned and loved Queen", he just mocked her. The next day, you woke up to see an empty side. He left early in the morning. You slept well last night.

You woke up and sat on your bed. You saw some beautiful flowers were kept on the side table. You smiled to yourself and took in your hand and sniffed the scent.

A small note was placed on the table. 'Have a good day!' You smiled seeing it. You jumped out of the bed to get ready for another day. Jungkook said that there would be no practice with him for today.

So you decided to go to Jiya and ask for something that you could do. "Good morning, Ms Jiya", you greeted her. She smiled at you. "Come here", she made you sit beside her. She was making tea. You too joined her.

In the court~

Yena's father and her brother came to the King's courtroom. The ministers greeted them. They greeted the King.

Taehyung just had a blank face. Queen mother welcomed them with a fake smiling face. "As you all know, my son has returned from being trained.

I wish that King would support him for the country's future", his father said. Some ministers didn't like how he was boasting just because he was King's father in law.

"So, what skills do you have?", Namjoon questioned him. "I am more physically fit and mastered martial arts than anyone in this room", he eyed Jungkook.

Jungkook silently chuckled. "You can make my son compete with our Prince and decide, you will give the position directly to him", his father said. "That's a bit", Queen mother was cut off by Jungkook.

"For now, we don't have much time to see who is powerful. I have already heard a lot about Min-kyu, he will take Jungkook's position from now on,'' Taehyung said in a go.

The court gasped a little. "But, will Prince Jungkook be okay with this?", A minister questioned. "I have a different assignment under my brother's supervision, it's hard to manage both so I am glad Mr Yoon", Jungkook smiled politely.

"A replacement!", Namjoon stressed the word to infuriate the father and son. "So hopefully he will do the duties properly and take care of our Army well", Taehyung said.

His father in law gritted his teeth. "How dare he disrespect my son! Let me meet Yena first and bring her to my side!", He thought to himself.
