The new boy

Once I get to school I park my car. I get out and head inside to the main office.
I enter the office to pick up my schedule. I look down to see what classes I have, it reads 1st period science. Ah dang It, I freaking hate science.
I start heading to science, But all of a sudden I hear "OMG Rachel?!" I knew who had said my name, Brooke. I turned around to see her.
"BROOKE, I haven't seen you for like 4 weeks!" I yelled
"I know I've missed you so much," Brooke said while hugging me
"I've missed you too"
"What class do you have right now?"
"Science," I say disgusted
"OMG me to!"
"We can walk there together"
"Did you know that Sarah is in Hawaii? She's coming home next week," Brooke told me while heading to class.
"Are you serious!"
"Yup"
When we finally arrive to the science room, we toke a seat in the back. A lot of kids starting coming in. You could hear them taking about a new kid named Matthew Espinosa. I didn't even bother to think about him.
"RINGG". Science has started and the teacher walks in with someone beside him. I was guessing that was the new kid. He was actually good looking.
"Hello lady's and gentlemen, we have a new student joining this classroom," Mr. Peterson said.
"His name is Matthew Espinosa," Mr. Peterson added.
"I heard that Matthew is a player," Brooke whispers to me.
"With those good looks I'm guessing he is," I whisper back
I wonder in my head where Mr. Peterson is going to seat him. I look down at my schedule to see what classes I'm in and what period I have them. All of a sudden I hear someone sit beside me. I look to my right and see its the new kid. He was already flirting with 2 girls, wow.
38 minutes have passed and I've been facing and talking to Brooke the whole time.

"Hey," I hear someone say. I turn to my right and see it was Matthew.
"Umm hi," I say kind of awkward
"What's your name babygirl?"
"Rachel, and please don't call me babygirl."
"Why not?"
"Because I'm not your girl" I say kind if annoyed
"Wanna come over to my place?"
"Noo.. I barely know you!"
"RINGGG" the bell rang and everyone got up to leave. I'm glad we didn't have any homework or about ourselves assignment or something.
Brooke and I also have 2nd period Spanish together which is great. I hope that class will be fun!
