The new boy

Chapter 6

I walk into my house and head to my bedroom. I decided to lay down and watch scary movies on my laptop.

30 minutes into the movie I get a text from a Matt. The vibration scared me since the movie is pretty creepy. The text said "hey hottie😏." I just roll my eyes and text him back saying "Heyy ugly boii🙊" I just laugh.
"My mom says I'm hot😜 but Wyd," Matt texts back
"Watching scary movies and I'm freaked out."
"Haha before you sleep check under your bed, there might be a monster!😈"
"MATT STOP, it's like 8pm and it's dark your scaring me even more!"
"Brb"
Umm okay I wonder what he's doing. I start to watch the movie again but then I hear a knock on the door. I walk downstairs to open the door but I see no one there. Huh weird. Out of no where Matt pops up "BOOOO," he yells. I scream and yell "What the crap Matt you almost gave me a heart attack," I say with an angry face
"I'm sorry haha" Matt laughs
Matt gives me hug and enters my house without even asking.
"I didn't tell you, you could come in"
"Oh I know," he says while laying down on the couch
"umm okay then leave"
"I came over so I could watch the movie with you since you're so scared and I didn't have anything to do."
"Okay that's fine with me. Im 10 times more scared than I already was because of you jumping out of no where, plus my mom is still at work."
"Okay so what movie are we watching?" He asks.
"I have like 20 more minutes of the conjuring then we can watch another movie." I say while leading him to my room.
"Okay"
I turn the lights off and I lay down on my bed and cover myself with my blanket and Matt sits down on the edge my my bed. I just chuckle.
"Matt you do know I don't bite, you can lay down next to me," I say pulling the blanket up so he can slide in.
"Oh I thought you wouldn't want me to" he says while laying down. I just laugh and start the movie.
5 minutes into the movie I jump getting scared and accidentally nestle into Matts side and put my head on his chest, without even noticing. Matt then puts his around around. I was so glad the lights were off because I could feel that my cheeks were burning red.

The movie finally ends and I look up to Matt and ask him why he wasn't scared like I was. "Because I'm not a scaredy cat and I love scary movies," matt says. I just punch him on the arm. "Ouch that hurt," he says sarcastically
"I'm glad it did"
"So what movie do you want to watch next," Matt asks me
"Umm let's watch world war z"
"Hahaha okay I love zombies"
"But not as much as you love me!"
"Trueee" he says while laughing and kissing my forehead. Why did he just kiss my forehead? I was only kidding. Was he? A lot of questions were going through my mind. I just want to be friends with him, for now. I really don't know how I feel about him. I don't know if I like him or don't? But how could you like a player? Oh well.
Before playing the movie I move a little bit away from Matt.

After the movie ends Matt yawns and walks over to the door. "Hey Rachel I have to go I'm really tired but thanks for letting me stay," Matt says. I get up and walk over to him and say "Haha Np I'm glad you came over. I would've been even more scared," I say.
"I'll see you at school tomorrow" he says while hugging me.
I hug him back and notice that he smells really good. Ahhh.
I walk him downstairs and open the door. Matt walks outside and says "Oh yeah before I forgot I'm having a party tomorrow, I was wondering if you wanted to come?"
"Yeah sure!"
"Cool! See ya tomorrow, night!" Matt kisses my cheek before leaving and I start to blush.
Let's see if tomorrow will be a good day.
