Chapter 10

I slowly open the door to see Matt in just his underwear making out with Brooke. What the heck! For some reason I feel my heart completely shatter into a million pieces. I just meet him 2 days ago! How could I have gotten feelings for him that fast? I fake cough to get their attention "*cough* Matt, i'm not sleeping over, I already made plans with Cam," I lie.

"Oh my gosh Rachel, this isnt what it looks like!" Matt says worried jumping off the bed.

"Matt it's exactly what it looks like, but guess what, i don't give a damn, you can do whatever you want. You're just like people told me you would be, a player who hooks up with every girl," I say walking away. I have no tears in my eyes. No guy is worth my tears especially a guy I just meet. Before walking downstairs I hear brooke say "Baby its okay, she's a little slut and a bit-" she gets interrupted by matt yelling "No she's not! Dont you dare call her that! The only slut and bitch here is you." Out the corner of my eye I see Matt running up to me. I start walking faster to the backyard to find Cam. I open the patio door but before stepping out Matt grabs my wrist and attacks his lips on mine. Oh how I wish I wasn't upset and could forget everything to kiss him back, but what happened, happened. I pull back and slap him.

"Matt, you can't just makeout with a girl you barley know that's my bestfriend and then one minute later find another girl to fuck!" I yell and walk outside. I head to where Cam was sitting. If you didn't know all ready Cam is my bestfriend. I had feelings for him back then, but forgot about them when some common sense came into me and I knew he wouldn't like me back.
"Hey Rachel, what's wrong," Cam asks concerned. Cam know me so well. He always knows when I'm sad.
"Oh noth-," I start to say but Cam interrupts me by saying,"Hey don't lie to me, I know something's up, sit down and tell me," he pats the ground signaling for me to sit and spill. I didn't want to talk here.
"I don't want to talk here, can we go to my house?" I ask Cam
"Yeah of course anything for my princess," Cam says hopping up and wrapping his are around my shoulder
"I'll see ya guys later," Cam continues waving to his friends. While walking to the front door I catch a glimpse of Matt. We stare at each other for about 2 seconds until He turns to his side where a bratty girl from school was and kisses her. Eww. He's suck a fucking player!
"Jerk," I meant to say it in my head but it come out of my mouth.
"Me?" Cam asks stopping all of a sudden pointing at himself.
"No Cameron, not you," I start to cry and run to the door. Gosh why do I have to be so emotional!
"Wait Rachel!" I hear Cam say running towards me attacking me with a big hug,"Hey baby it's okay, you're going to tell me everything that happened and why you're upset. I promise I will make you feel better," he continues as we walk out.
"Uh Cam how did I get so lucky to have you as my best friend?"
"The real question is how did I get so lucky to have YOU in my life?" I just laugh and it only took us about 3 minutes to get to my house. I get my keys and open the door. There's no one home. I'm guessing my mom has a late shift again or is on vacation.
"I haven't been in you're house since like the beginning of summer," Cam says walking in.
"Yeah I know, Do you want to watch a movie?" I ask, Hoping to get Cam to forget about why I was upset.
"YAS, we should watch 50 shades of grey!"
"EWWW heck no, it's so nasty."
"Haha I was just joking," Cam says laughing like crazy.
"Do you want to watch it in the living room or basement?"
"How about your room."
"Okay that's fine with me,"
"Beat ya there!"
"Liessss!" I run up the stair to see my room door closed. Nooo Cams gonna catch me now! I wiggle the knob for it to open. After about a million tries, It opens. Yes thank god. I open the door and walk in but out of no where I get knocked down onto my bed. I see Cam on top of me out of breath. Hahah how cute. Wait what?!Oh no we're my feelings coming back for him?
"Cammmmmm that hurtttt," I say extending the m and t's.
"I sorry Miss. Peters, I just don't think it's fair that you got a head start so I tackled you," Cam says.
"You're such a meanie,"
"But I'm your meanie," Matt replies winking. I roll over so that I'm on top of Cam and rest my head and his chest and legs on both sides of his stomach. I feel his arms wrap around my stomach. Oh how I wish everyday was like this.
"Why can't everyday be so perfect like this very moment?" Cam asks as if he's reading my mind.
"Haha I really don't know, life just isn't fair, it's a cruel world."
"I know it truly is."
"Do you want to watch a funny, scary or romantic movie," I say into his chest.
"I'm in the mood for a scary one."
"Romantic one it is!"
"Oh I see how it is." Cam then sits up with me still on his lap and just stares at me. I stare back. Oh how his eyes were so perfect. It made my heart melt.
"Why is my bestfriend so beautiful?" Cam asks
"You're really funny," I say fake laughing and punch him in the hair, softly.
"I'm not joking you are! Don't let anyone tell you different."
"Thank you Cameron, that made my night," I could feel my face getting red. Cam smiles which made me even redder.
"I'm glad it did. Now hop off so I can make some popcorn." I hop off and say,"Way to ruin the moment dallas." And wink. Cam gets off my bed and walks to me. He kisses my forehead and says "Oh man up babe," he says laughing and heading to the kitchen to make the popcorn. I pick out a romantic movie on Netflix. For some reason I totally forgot about Matt and had a smile on my face that spread from ear to ear just thinking about what Cam said. Gosh I don't know where I would be without him.

A/N I'm so sorry I haven't updated but I'm hoping to have another chapter up today or tomorrow. It's spring break meaning I will have time to update❤️❤️ hope u guys liked this chapter.
