The new boy

Chapter 5

I walk into my house and head to the kitchen to get a snack. While eating goldfish I find a note on the counter. It says " Hey Rachel I hope you had a great day I'm sorry I couldn't be home. Im running a late shift. I left $20 on the table so you can order out. Also we have new neighbors, they live 3 houses down from ours, go welcome them!"
I'll say say hi after I'm done eating my snack and change into Comfy clothes.
I headed up stairs to my bedroom to do find some sweatpants.

After putting on my sweatpants I head outside and walk to my neighbors to welcome them.
I knock on the door to see Matt. What the hell is this? Why did he have to move next to me?
"Your my neighbor?!," I asked him and roll my eyes.
"Hahah yup," he says laughing "Im sorry about earlier I really didn't mean to call you any of those things," he adds
I take a deep breath and ask him why he called my a bitch.
"Every girl wants me but I was surprised you didn't bother to flirt with me or kiss me back on the cheek"
"Not every girl you see will try to hook up with you just because you hot. Personality is important to."
"Did you just say I'm ho-"
"I forgive you for what you said. But don't call me a bitch or slut again," I say cutting him off so we can change the subject
"I promise"
"Well okay then I'm just gonna go now," I say turning around but Matt grabs my hand and turns me so that I'm facing him. He asks me if He can have my number. In my head I wondered if it was a good or bad Idea if I gave it to him. What the heck who cares. He hands me his phone and I put my number in. "Thanks," Matt hugs me and I push away after 2 secs and say "no problem"
