Damon: "Hello, witchy." he greets Aspen when he opens the door to Alaric's apartment

Aspen: "Hey."

Alaric: "Hey" he greets as Elena comes into the living room, waving at Aspen "Thanks for letting me borrow your camera." he holds it out for her

Aspen: "No problem. I'm not gonna find any disturbing photos on here am I?"

Alaric: "No, you're not." he shakes his head with a small laugh

Aspen: "What's all these?"

Elena: "Found them in a cave underneath the Lockwood property."

Alaric: "That right there is a moon cycle. A man. A wolf."

Aspen: "Werewolf."

Damon: "Yeah. It's the Lockwood diaries, Pictionary style." he smirks beginning to spar with Elena

Alaric: "These images tell a story. To learn the story, I have to decipher these images."

Damon: "Sloppy."

Elena: "Shut up. I'm new at this."

Aspen: "That's Klaus' name." she points to one of the photos and they all give her shocked looks

Elena: "You understand Viking language?"

Aspen: "Isla taught it to me over the summer. Along with a few other lost languages."

Damon: "Guess there are perks to having a mother that was alive during the big bang." he smirks and she glances at him with an eye roll

Aspen: "That's Elijah...Rebekah..." she points at the different names on the photos "Mikael."

Damon: "I now like to call him papa original."

Aspen: "Of course you do" she mutters, shaking her head "What's the point of all of these?"

Damon: "The ghost of Christmas past, Mason Lockwood, said that the cave would lead us to a weapon that could kill Klaus."

Elena: "Yeah, but doesn't Mikael have a weapon?"

Damon: "Yes, which probably means the wall will lead us to Mikael, who we've already found and lost" he snatches the stake out her hand and spins her around so her back is pinned to his chest "Bang. You're dead." he pretends to bite her neck and she pushes him back with an annoyed look

Alaric: "These images, at the very least, might tell us what that weapon is."

Elena: "Then all we have to do is find out what they mean."

Damon: "Well, fine. Fine. If I'm being irritatingly optimistic like you two. How do you suppose we do that?"

Elena: "Well, if the story's about the original family living here, then we go straight to the source." she shrugs, picking up the image with Rebekah's name

Aspen: "This one right here means vampire" she points and Alaric writes the label on a sticky note "Wait, hold on..." she looks between two different photos "This one is vampire. That's werewolf."

Elena: "She's going to tell me. She's scared of him, Damon" the two hear as she comes into the apartment "I saw her face. I just have to engage in a little mean-girl power struggle first."

Damon: "Make sure she doesn't power struggle you into a wheelchair."

Elena: "I've got this, Damon. If we can figure out a way to kill Klaus, Stefan will be free of his compulsion. So how does he look?"
