The Last Day

Elijah: "Tonight is a full moon. We should assume that Klaus is prepared to break the curse." he tells Aspen, Stefan, and Elena as they sit in the living room at the Boarding house

Stefan: "Elena said that the sun and moon curse is fake. That it's actually just a curse placed on Klaus."

Elijah: "Klaus is vampire born of a werewolf bloodline. The curse has kept his werewolf aspect from manifesting. But if he breaks it, he'll be a true hybrid."

Damon: "Then why are we letting him break the curse?" he comes into the room and they look over at him "We can kill him today. With Bonnie."

Stefan: "Damon."

Aspen: "Bonnie can't use that much power without dying."

Damon: "I'll write her a great eulogy."

Aspen: "How bout we kill you" she offers, giving him an annoyed look "Then we wouldn't have to deal with your snarky comments."

Elena: "It's not an option, Damon." she states and he rolls his eyes a little

Stefan: "All right, how do we break this curse?"

Elijah: "The ritual itself is straightforward. The ingredients, so to speak, you already know."

Stefan: "The moonstone."

Elijah: "A witch will channel the power of the full moon...to release the spell that's bound within the stone."

In Alaric's apartment, Isla is looking down at the moonstone in her hand and Klaus comes up behind her, wrapping his arm around her to take hold of it as he smirks at her

Elijah: "After that, Klaus, being both werewolf and vampire...will sacrifice one of each."

Elena: "And where do I fit into it?"

Elijah: "The final part of the ritual. Klaus must drink the blood of the doppelganger, to the point of your death." he states, making a tense moment come over everyone and Stefan reaches out to hold her hand

Aspen: "And that's where you come in."

Elijah: "This is an elixir that I acquired some 500 years ago for Katerina" he pulls out an object from a box in his hands "It possesses mystical properties

of resuscitation."

Elena: "So I'll be dead?"

Elijah: "And then you won't."

Damon: "That's your plan? A magical witch potion with no expiration date? You wanna come back to life, what about John's ring?"

Aspen: "Those rings only work on humans. A doppelganger is part of the supernatural."

Elijah: "Correct" he nods at her "Odds are the ring won't work."

Damon: "I'd take those odds over your elixir" he shrugs, turning his gaze over to her "What if it doesn't work, Elena?"

Elena: "Then I guess I'll just be dead."

Damon: "Wha...?" he gives her an incredulous look, looking over at Stefan who shrugs and he scoffs, walking out the room

Aspen: "Do we know if Klaus has everything he needs to do this? Does he have a werewolf?"

Elijah: "Klaus has been waiting to break this curse for over 1000 years. If he doesn't already have a werewolf, my guess is by tonight, he will."

Carol: "Tyler, honey. It's your mother. I don't know where you are, but I need you. I've had an accident and I'm in the hospital. Please, Tyler. Come home" she says on the phone, walking up the stairs where Maddox is standing "Why did I say that?" she asks after hanging up
