Chapter 3- Earth Skills and Earth Kills

Welcome back to Strange Silence. We are starting the writing process on a Wednesday at 5:10PM. By the time you see this it will have been at least a week since now, so Hi future readers and people! Let's jump into the book. (I really wish I could actually jump into a book at the moment)

~Previously in Strange Silence.~

Hailey and Octavia get hurt by a sea serpent thing.

Jasper and Hailey get speared.

Over all people get hurt.

Third person-

"Clarke. Come on!" Finn shouted at her.

The group was running, well part of the group was running. Jasper and Hailey aren't with them. Of course they aren't, they were speared. That's what the group is running from. Monty tripped on a tree branch.

"Monty! Come on!" Octavia yelled at him while jogging back to help him get back up. The group in front stopped and waited for them to catch back up.

"We got to go!" Finn shouted at the two.

Monty fell back over. "Monty, get up!" Octavia told him and she helped get him back up.

The teens stumble across an opening with skulls.

Looking over the skulls Finn asks, "Who are they?"

Picking one up Clarke corrects his question, "What are they."

"We are so screwed." Octavia says with a scared face.

Distant screams fill the air. The teens all look up, eyes widening.

"Jasper." Clarke says bewildered.

"Hailey." Monty adds.

"They're alive." Finn includes.

Clarke quickly starts sprinting towards the screams with everyone else on her tail.

"Clarke, wait. Wait! Stay out of the trees." Finn calls out to Clarke.

Reaching the river again they see that no one is there.

"No. They were right here." Finn says, confused.

"Where are they?" Monty questions.

"They took them." Clarke answers.

Slowly they turn around and head back to camp.

Third Person with Hailey-

Hailey's eyes fluttered open and her eyes almost immediately darted around trying to find out where she was. She figured out one thing in the few minutes she was conscious. That she was upside down. Didn't help much but it was something.

About 20 minutes later Hailey regained consciousness again. She noticed she wasn't upside down anymore. When she looked down it seemed that she was at least 10 feet in the air, hanging. Trying to get untied she moved her arm up to the knots but immediately yelped and stopped at the sharp pain in her shoulder and side. She was conscious for a few more minutes before she went out again.

Third Person view at the Camp.

Clarke ran into camp and saw what was happening. "Wells! Let him go!" She shouted at Wells.

Bellamy glared at her before grabbing Murphy and telling him, "Enough." The rest of the group then came out of the woods and Bellamy noticed his sister was limping. "Octavia. Are you alright?" He asked, concerned.
