Today is the Eastern Highschool's Annual Football Championship-Eagle Rocks! vs Stormrider. Amy and James bought their tickets and went to their seats. They even put on the school's football jersey to show their support towards Eagle Rocks! team. And of course Amy has been waiting for this day since day one of school.
Then, the cheering gets louder when the commentator-Adam-announced the arrival of both teams into the field. The referee blowed the whistle indicating the game has started. Eagle Rocks! played very well. First it was Sam to Percy then to Oliver. The passing of the ball goes really well until it reached the opponents defense line. The Stormrider's defense strategy was so good that is is almost impossible for the Eagle Rocks! striker to score a goal. That's when everything happened so quickly. One of the defense player, Seth as written on the back of his jersey, lost his focus and Jason got the ball and kicked it into the Stormrider's goal passing the goalkeeper. Everyone in the stadium cheered as they saw Jason managed to put a mark ahead of the opponent's team. Amy and James too cheered together with the others. The crowds receded to their seats and continued watching the football match with a hope that Jason could score another goal. It was almost end of the game when Jason head the ball into the goal. The crowds gone wild once more. Every player hugged Jason even their coach- Mr Henderson.
The school's principal, Mr Lawrence, handed the trophy to the team's captain-Jason, of course- and he kissed it. Fireworks started lighting up the sky that night with its beautiful colours. There were a lot of shapes- a trophy, a flower and the letter E representing Eastern Highschool. After the fireworks ended, the students of Eastern Highschool started to walk through the stadium's exit.
Amy and James was too busy talking about how well the game was played and they became the last person to leave the stadium. ''Hahaha...did you see how mad the Stormrider's coach just now? He was so furious that he did not want to talk to anybody,'' said James. ''I know right. It was like- ''how could this even happened? We have trained very hard for this match and we lose''-.
Suddenly, their school's team emerged from the below of the stadium corridor. Jason looked up to the crowd's seat adn was smiling. His eyes caught with Amy's. Amy blushed and turned away towards James and told him that they should leave the stadium.
''Why are your face was all pinkish-red? Are you blushing?''
''Umm....yes.''
''Why would you blushed? Did I embarass you or something? I didn't remember making fun of you just now.''
''It's nothing, really. It's just I caught my eyes looking at Jason. And he was looking at me. I couldn't think o being happier than this.''
''Ohh...Good for you then.''
Amy was too happy to even notice that James' face has changed after he heard the name Jason. His emotions were bubbling inside his heart. Amy was still smiling like crazy when they reached Amy's house.
''Hey, it's late now. I gotta go. See ya tomorrow at school. Oh, and said hi to Harry,'' said James half-heartedly before walking home. How he wished that Amy doesn't ruin that night with the name of Jason Wood.
