Samantha and Jason laughed happily at Dunkin Doughnuts during the rain. They haven't planned to go home yet. Jason ordered a hot chocolate with loads of whipped cream on top. Samantha ordered her all-time favourite drink which is the frozen caramel drink with whipped cream and some chocolate rice on top. They also ordered Bavarian Creme and chocolate cookies for snacks.
They talked about themselves. Samantha even told Jason how boring being the daughter of the mayor. If you go anywhere, there will always people talking and watching behinde her back. So annoying. Jason told her that being famous school athlete was not that bad. ''Except for that time where people become fanatic that it might scare you,'' he said. Samantha laughed and drank her caramel drink. The whipped cream was on her lips. She searched for some tissue or napkins but found nothing. She wanted to wipe with her shirt sleeve but Jason stopped her by kissing her lips, cleaning her lips.
''OMG!! What you're doing?!" Samantha pushed Jason back to his seat. Jason was dumb-founded.
"I'm sorry!! I'm oblivious of what I'm doing. I just know that I have to clean the cream. And so I kissed you. Sorry Sam," Jason said.
"Stop sorry-ing me. Its okay. I mean, I was shocked and all but its okay. You're being a gentleman for not letting my sleeves dirty," Samantha said. And she looked straight into Jason's electric-blue eyes. He looked into hers too. Both of them talked simultaneously.
''You go first. Then, me." Jason being a gentleman. So cute.
''I'm embarassed to say this. But I'm like other girls in school," Samantha talked very carefully.
''What do you mean?"
"I mean...I liked you and always thought you wouldn't want to socialize with girls like me. You know, the proud kind of girl. And you are the school's athlete and all."
"Oh, really? Wow. I'm getting lots of girls nowadays confessing to me. Hahaha!!"
"Serious. Can you?"
"Fine. Fine. I like you too. Really. How I wish the two dream girl and boy having a relationship, it's gonna be awesome!! Right?"
"Are you saying that we're together now? Or is it just me overreacting?"
"Yes, we are. Officially." Then he gave Sam a kiss on her milky-white cheeks that instantly turned reddish. They finished their food and drinks before going home together.
