The day after Jason hugged Amy, she has changed. A lot according to James. That day when James came over to hitch a ride from Harry, he saw that Amy was wearing a purple shirt so low that her cleavage started showing up and a black mini skirt. James was suprised to see her being so sexy that day and asked, ''Why are you wearing that kind of clothes? That's definitely not your style, Amy. You've changed. Did Jason asked you to wear this kind of clothes? To make you look sexy infront of his teammates?'' Amy replied furiously, ''It's none of your business. I wanted myself to change and look good. Not a geek. I can't please your heart everyday, right?''
James got so mad that he decided to walked out. when Harry asked him whether he wanted to have a ride to school together with Amy, he said no. Harry was suprised but he didn't call James back. He just shrugged. Then Amy came out.
''What the hell? Why are you wearing that clothes? Go and change, Amy Earhart!''
''I don't want to, Harry. I've changed. I don't want to look so geeky anymore. I'm jealous seeing Samantha Lex being so attractive. I want to be like her. Oh, why I'm telling you this? You won't understand.'' With that she got into Harry's car.
The moment Amy walked into the school's corridor, every pair of eyes were looking at her. Both girls and boys. She walked up to her locker and took out her books. When she turned, Jason Wood was waiting for her. ''Wow. You look great. Wanna go to class together?'' said Jason. ''Sure. Let's go,'' Amy replied happily. Finally he notices me, Amy thought. In class, Amy sat next to Jaon and his teammates. Samantha walked to James' desk and asked him ''Isn't that your BFF, James? Aren;t you jealous seeing her with Jason?'' James looked over to Amy laughing histerically with Jason. His heart was once more broken by Amy.
Everyday every moment at school, Amy acted like James doesn;t even exist after she got along with Jason. Jason had told her that she is now his girlfriend. That makes her more happier than ever. Walked around the school with her hands around Jason's. Nothing could be more happier than this. This week they will have to sit for their mid-term's test. and the results were shockingly bad for Amy's class.
Ms. Anne is their class teacher. She came in with papers in her hands. Amy stopped talking with Jason for a while and looked nervously. She was worried-sick about her results. She was afraid that her reputation as the class' number 1 will drop. She wanted to cry. Jason held her hands and smiled assuringly. James looked relaxed. Samantha sat up straight like she was all anxious to get her results. Not feeling afraid at all. The rest of the class suddenly get interested of the white floor.
''Ok class. Result's out now. I'm going to call the top 5 students first as usual. The rest can take your papers afterwards,'' said Ms. Anne.
''Amy Earhart!'' she called. Amy stood and walked towards Ms. Anne's desk. All she said was "I am very disappointed, Amy" She held out the paper and Amy took it nervously. She saw a big 'B' letter on it and cried on the spot. Ms. Anne kept calling the other 4 student's name. ''Emily Sander!" She smiled to her. ''Samantha Lex!" She smiled widely. ''George Jr.!" She's still smiling. And lastly "James Ford!". She congratulate him for being number 1 in class. ''Amy, my office after school,''said Ms. Anne in front of class.
After school, as she was told, Amy, with shame, walked slowly to Ms. Anne's office. She knocked and was allowed to come in. Ms. Anne looked up to Amy and asked her to sit on the chair. She then started the awkward student-teacher conversations.
''What happened to you, Amy? I've always thought you are the best in class. Maybe in sophomore year. But today when I saw that result in my hands, I was shocked. Explainations please.''
''I'm sorry Ms. Anne. I guess this all happen since I'm dating Jason Wood. I couldn't focus in studying. Whenever I tried to, I kept thinking about Jason. And this problem with James. I'm stressed out, Ms. Anne."
She smiled and said ''I knew about this whole dating thingy. I think that's why you've changed your style of clothing. I've been through a lot of things. I suggest you bring both boys and talked calmly. As for your result today, I have to give you this paperworks. You must finish it and pass it up to me next morning. Sounds okay for your punishment?''
Amy simply answered yes. And she said Thank you to Ms. Anne before going out. She took out her phone and called James to tell him about the meeting. She then called Jason and told him the same thing he told James.
