"Oh my god, are you okay?" Josuke had rushed over to your side, the others crowding around you, "I was worried he was going to just blow you up or at least use you as a hostage." The female doctor screamed at the sight in front of her while the other personnel were all in a panic.

You stared down at the tie wrapped around your hand, "At the end he seemed to have accepted his death. Although I'm somewhat surprised myself that he didn't want to take me down with him or something."

Jotaro shook his head in disbelief, "You're saying that you got that close to him without really knowing what he'd do? Yare yare. And you're not going to keep Kira's tie, are you?"

You shook your head, "No, I don't think so. At least not in a state that would let it work with my Stand. I've already made up my mind that I don't want Kira as a Stand. With him only having to touch people to kill them, it's far too dangerous an ability for something I can't control. Oh, and... I knew I could trust Dio to back me up at least a little bit." You brought out said vampire. Kakyoin and Jotaro both visibly flinched. "If I died he'd be gone forever too. Plus, I promised to switch my Stand to him more often in exchange for his help. Unlike him I tend to keep my promises."

Dio leaned on your shoulder, looking quite smug, "Which means you'll be seeing me around a lot more."

You let out a frustrated sigh, "But that reminds me, Kars and Wammu's stuff is back at Joseph's hotel room. I should get that back soon. Oh, and do any of you know where Santana and Iggy went? I didn't seem them by my house when I dropped by this morning so I've been quite worried."

Okuyasu quickly spoke up, proud of himself for knowing the answer, "I know where they went! They're having a sleepover at Mikitaka's place!"

"Ah. I see."

Some police officers started to push the other people away from the scene, fearing another accident. One pulled you aside. "Excuse me, Miss. I was told you knew the deceased. Could you tell me his name for the records and so his family can be informed."

"Yes, his name was Yoshikage Kira."

"Kira?" He tapped his chin with the pen and scribbled something down, "There's an old house up on Kotodai under that name. He lived alone if I remember correctly." He tipped his cap before leading you to regroup with the others, "Your cooperation is appreciated."

Koichi seemed stunned, "Wow, he really ended up dying in an accident."

"But it's for the best." Declared Rohan. "This way the law can't judge him."

Kakyoin nodded along, "I can only imagine what it would be like trying to explain to the judge how he killed all those people with his bomb making cat spirit. They'd probably think we had some sort of collective state of insanity."

Hayato tugged at your arm, "(Y/N)... does this mean my mom will never know that my dad died?"

You crouched to be on eye level with him, "Yeah. She'll probably assume he decided to leave home for some reason."

He bit his lip, tears threatening to spill. His arms were wrapped around his father's work suitcase, "I didn't know my dad well at all, but I had really hoped Kira would be punished in one way or another for murdering him."

"I know what what you mean. But I'm sure that if there is an afterlife, a special place in hell will be reserved just for him. Now, let's get you home. Your mother is probably worried." You returned Hayato safely to his house before meeting up with Rohan at the Owson store where Reimi had been waiting. The others were supposedly arriving soon.
