Midnight glared at the black and red hedgehog, but didn't say anything. Jules stood there. Sonic stared at his father. What will he say? Shadow thought, honestly scared. Jules looked at Shadow. "Well? What are you three standing there for? Isn't there a cadet to train?" Pointing his sword at Shadow, King Jules turns and leaves, then Midnight follows. Before she disappears, she turns around and faces Sonic. "This isn't over, brother." and with that, she turns and leaves, blending into the forest. Shadow stares at Sonic, wondering what the heck just happened. " What just happened?" Sonic glanced at Shadow, smiling. " I just bought you five more years of life." Shadow didn't know whether to chuckle, thank, or hug Sonic. All he knew was that the next step he would take would probably be his last.
