Part 47

Klarissa's POV

Now I was laying on our bed completely shook up. I wasn't exactly sure what to do at this moment. Do I try and finish myself off, go back to sleep, or just get dressed and head down stairs. After thinking though my options briefly, I decided that there was no point in trying to go back to sleep. I was completely awake and turned on. With a sigh, I got up off the bed.

After I took a quick shower and got dressed, I headed downstairs. I was dressed in a white silk top and white sweat pants. The reason why I ultimately decided on this top, was because it was see-through. If anything I knew that it would spike Lorenzo's interests and maybe get me a little bit of trouble.

Upon walking into the kitchen, I was a little surprised to see that no one was eating breakfast. I knew that all the brothers had to be up by now, so where could they possibly be?

All of a sudden I heard a loud wailing scream come from the garage. I immediately walked through the kitchen and over to the garage door. When I opened the door, I saw nothing but I could tell that I was getting closer to the noise. I then realized that the noise was coming from the basement. With hesitation, I grabbed the stairwell rail and started to walk down the metal stairs.

When I was about to open the door to the basement, the door opened and Lorenzo and his brothers started to file out.

"Klarissa you shouldn't be down here." Lorenzo said as he nervously looked over his shoulder. He had a panicked expression on his face and quickly grabbed me by the arm.

I watched as Lorenzo looked between his brothers and Angelo. They all looked nervous and guilty of something.

"Why what's going on?" I asked as I tried to look over Lorenzo's shoulder. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the same girl as last night thrashing around in someones arms. She was screaming loudly and crying.

"Nothing, we are all just heading up for breakfast." Lorenzo said as he tried to make me go up the stairs.

"You are lying straight to my face. Something is happening to that girl in there! Why aren't you doing anything to help her." I said as I rose my voice.

"Because she's in there for a reason." Lorenzo said back to me. 

"For what reason! What exactly are you doing to her!" I yelled as I started to fight my way towards the door.

When no one responded, my deepest and darkest thoughts came to life. I stood still and looked Lorenzo dead in his face.

"You wouldn't." I said as my voice started to break. How could a man who is so gentle and caring with me, be so ruthless and evil to another woman?

I watched as Lorenzo looked at his brothers with an annoyed expression on his face. 

"Lasciaci." he said loudly to them. Immediately them turned around and hurried up the stair well.

"I did what I had to do to protect you and my families name. Everything that happens my world has a price and that girl is paying it." Lorenzo said through clenched teeth. I could tell that in his mind he knew what he did was wrong, but I knew there was nothing I could do to get him to stop all of this.

"You are allowing another woman to be raped because of what almost happened to me! I don't understand why you are ruing a girls life over something that never came to be!" I yelled as the tears started to brim in my eyes.

"My final decision has been made. We just need to go upstairs and have breakfast." Lorenzo said as he started to pull me back up the stairs.

"Let me see her." I said lowly to Lorenzo.
