Lorenzo's POV

I've been siting in my office all day trying to decide what I'm going to say to Anika and Portia. I know that they are going to be even more upset with me now since they have had time to think about what happened. However, the more I thought about it the more I became indifferent of the situation. Sure, I am still upset about the boy being dead but there isn't much I can do about it now.

I also have a bigger problem on my hands regarding the situation. Anika and Portia will be expecting me to be on their side against Klarissa. Even though I understand where they are coming from, I am in love with Klarissa and I don't want her to feel teamed up on. She made a stupid decision and I think she understands that. But, the girls will not be as forgiving towards Rissa as I am. The last thing I need is my two serial killer friends trying to kill my girlfriend.

What brought me out of my thoughts was a loud opening of the door. Anika had all but ripped the door off the frame by how hard she opened it. Portia was hot on her heal and they both had the same stone cold expression on their face. When they get like this, they are completely unreasonable.

"Lorenzo." Portia said as she closed the door. Together they walked over to my desk and sat in the chairs in front of me.

They were both dressed in their usual attire. Anika was wearing a black body con dress that dipped low in the back and the front. She also had black fish nets to go along with 5 inch Louboutin heels. Portia was wearing her tight black jeans and a black lace top. She was also wearing the same shoes as Anika was.

"So what happened while you guys were in the compound? Ricco said he couldn't understand anything you guys were saying." I said to them. The part that annoys me the most out of this situation, was that we could completely avoid a debriefing if they would just speak English.

"Well, once we got inside it was a complete maze. There were loads of armed guards at every check point. But, we didn't have a problem till we came back through with the boy." Portia explained.

"What was the problem?" I asked as I reclined back in my chair.

"All of our snipers were dead! After we got him outside the compound the French saw us and started firing at us, and we had no support." Portia said. "Then you know what happened after that."

"All of that just to have the boy killed." Anika grunted under her breath.

I looked over at her and rolled my eyes. "Not every job can end how you want it. I'm not even mad about the situation, we'll find another lead soon enough." I told her. I was trying my best to calm her down, I just wanted to cool the waters between them and Rissa.

"Not for us! Every job always ends on our terms!" Anika said as she slammed her hands down on my desk.

"Anika.." I groaned as I ran my hands down my face.

"Don't 'Anika' her! I'm just as pissed as her but I see no point on arguing about it." Portia said defensively.

"Okay, okay. How about you guys stay for dinner, I think it would be good for you guys to decompress." I suggested.

As much as I knew have them around Rissa might be a bad idea, I think it would be best to just have them clear the air. Especially since these girls aren't going anywhere.

I watched as they looked at each other. They said nothing aloud but I knew they were discussing it their eyes.

"Fine, we will stay. But just because we haven't seen you guys in a while." Portia grunted lowly.

"Good. Dinner is in about thirty minutes and the boys are probably in the sitting room drinking." I told them.

Both of them nodded their heads at me and walked out the door. After finishing up a couple of things in my office, I made my way out to the sitting room.
