Part 20

Klarissa's POV

"What color should I get?" Ciro whined as he looked at all the nail polish wall.

"How about white, we could match." I said to him as I drew my attention back to my nails.

I was getting white colored acrylics with a subtle iridescent top coat. I wanted something simple that wasn't to flashy or over the top. Gianna on the other hand was getting a deep red color on her acrylics. She said that she wanted to get a manicure that would match the holiday vibe.

"Ok fine." Ciro said with a huff as he sat down in the chair next to me.

"You have to tell Lorenzo that you only want Ciro to accompany us for our outings. Angelo has a stick up his ass the whole time we are out." Gianna said to me as she looked over a Ciro.

"I should!" I told her through laughter.

"Wow, I understand why you girls like to come down here all the time. It's actually kind of relaxing." Ciro said as he closely watched the nail lady paint his nails.

Both Gianna and I laughed at him and his statement.

After we paid the nail ladies we all stepped out of the salon.

"Can someone get my keys out of my pocket. I don't want to mess up my nails." he said as he lightly blew on his nails.

"I told you Ciro, they are dry." Gianna said with amusement in her voice.

"Are you sure." he said giving her a nervous look.

"Yes! Just open the damn door." she told him.

Reluctantly he reached into his pocket and pulled out the keys. After he inspected his nails again, he unlocked the door and let us in.

When we finally pulled up to the estate, I noticed a new car in the driveway. It was a large white Rolls Royce with dark tinted windows. Even though I know nothing about cars, I knew that just by the looks of it, it probably costed thousands.

As soon as we walked through the front door we were immediately greeted by Luca.

"Hey look what I got!" Ciro said excitedly as he showed him his hands. Immediately Luca and him were doubled over in laughter. Just watching them laugh was making me laugh.

Once Luca took a few deep breaths, he turned to me.

"Lorenzo wants to see you in his office." he told me as he was trying to hold down his laughter.

With a nod, I started to walk in the direction of his office. As I started to get closer to the room, I could smell cigar smoke and giggling. I started to get a little anxious by these signs, and started to walk a little bit faster.

As soon as I reached the door, I swung it open to see two women sitting on Lorenzo's desk. Both of them had their backs towards me so I couldn't see their faces. These girls were also casually smoking a cigar and were passing it amongst themselves. 

When my eyes finally fell upon Lorenzo, I observed him to be seated far back in his chair and had a smug grin playing on his face.

In order to get his attention, I cleared my throat. Immediately his eyes fell upon me and he gave me a warm smile.

"You're back." he said. His statement earned these girl attentions.

Simultaneously they both turned to look at me.

These girls were intimidatingly beautiful. They both had a mysteriously dark look in their eyes that was completely terrifying.

I watched as they both approached me, almost as if I was their pray. The first one to approach me had a tight smile on her face.
