Bullied

Chapter 1

Lauren's pov

I wake up at 6:30 am, I turn my alarm off and go take a shower, I then get my clothes on for the day.

-black skinny Jeans

-over sized hoodie

-vans

I then get the things I'll need for school until my plain black back pack, like my notebook, pens, pencils, my homework, and I also put a book in reading in there.

I go downstairs and make myself some cereal, I'm the only one here, my mom and dad are on a business trip and my brother and sister have slept out. When I'm done with my breakfast I wash up and leave for school, it's not that far of a walk only about 10 minutes. As I'm walking to school I put my head phones in and Listen to some the 1975, they're my favourite band.

When I get to school I put the things I'll need in my back pack from my locker, as I was some pushed me into the lockers causing my to drop everything I was holding, this also caused my open bag to fling everything out when it hit the floor.

I sigh and hear laughter, I look to see Shawn and Austin laughing and high fiving, I pick everything up and close my locker walking to my home room early.

I sit down and put my headphones back in and read my book. I was reading 'to kill a mockingbird' I've read it before and I loved it, so I'm reading it again.

I had my book resting on the table, my elbow also on the table holding my head up on my hand, I still have 20 minutes before lessons actually start so this is what I do for the next 20 or so minutes.

When the bell goes I take my headphones out, put my book away and wait for everyone to come in, I then listen to the teacher.

Soon enough it was lunch, I go to the cafeteria buy my lunch and sit on a table. I got my book out and started to read again, but it was too noisy for me to actually be able to process the words. I sigh and get up putting the other half of my food in the bin and walk to the library. On the way Shawn and his best friend austin pin me to the wall, I frown and ask them to let me go but they didn't, austin threw my book down the hall and they started to call me names and laugh at me.

"Let me go!" I say loudly, they just laugh and call me pathetic

When a teacher comes Shawn puts me down and acts to be nice to me, I frown and look at the teacher who smiles.

"Thank you for helping me with my math homework Lauren, I really appreciate it" he said, the teacher smiles wider.

"Nice to see you helping people,Lauren" she said, I sigh and nod as Shawn and Austin walk away, I walk down the hall to my book picking it up and carry on my walk to the library.

When I got there I only had 10 minutes to read, it wasn't much I couldn't even focus on the book only the pain in my back from being slammed and pinned to the wall.

Soon I went to last lesson but the pain in my back was horrid and I couldn't concentrate, I raised my hand to get the teachers attention.

"Yes, Lauren?" He asked

"Can I go to the nurse please? I have a horrible pain in my back" I ask, he nods and I pack my things and make my way.

"Ms lovato?" I ask walking into the room, I've been here enough times that she tells me not to bother to knock.

"Lauren, what's wrong? Another headache, have you been drinking enough water?" She asked, I nod

"I have but I don't have a headache, my back hurts" I say, she frowns and nods

"Let me see" she said, I nod and turn around lifting the back of my shirt up, I hear her gasp lightly.

"What happened?" She asked, i go to tell her I was pinned against the wall but side against it and make up a life.

"I tripped over my shoe lace and hit my back against the wall pretty hard" I mumble, she nods

"It's all red and already bruising, are you sure you tripped Lauren?" She asked, i put my shirt down and nod.

"Yeh" I say, she nods softly and I knew she knows I'm lying.

"You'll be okay, you're back is bruised though, pretty bad, maybe see a doctor or just take it easy and rest" she said, I nod.

"Thank you" I say, she nods

"And Lauren" she said stopping me from leaving, I look at her and nod

"You can always talk to me" I smile and thank her leaving

After last lesson I walk home. I watch some tv and the front door opens, I look to see Chris and Taylor walking in.

"Hey guys" I say, they nod

"Hey, you made dinner yet?" Chris asked, i shook my head

"No, I can now though if you're both hungry" I say, they nod

"Yeh, thanks" Taylor said, I nod

"I'm just going to change because it's a bit hot" I say, they nod and carry on talking. I make my way upstairs and put a vest and shorts on, I go back down and start to cook.

"Lauren, what the hell happened to your back?" Taylor asked, I look and shook my head

"Nothing, I just tripped over my shoe lace, I'm fine" I say, she frowns

"Lauren-" I cut Chris off

"I'm fine, okay, you know I'm clumsy, it's fine" I say, they nod softly and I go back to cooking.

"How was school?" I ask

"It was good" they said, I nod

"Where were you two last night? You didn't text me saying you were staying out" I say, they nod.

"Sorry, we just went to a party and crashed at the guys house" Chris said, I then turn around and look at Taylor.

"A party? A guys house?" I ask, Taylor giggles

"It's fine Lauren, nothing happened, it was hardly a party anyway, it was a few people, we didn't get drunk or anything and we went to school, see homework from today" she said pulling out homework, I look at the date and nod.

"Good, just text me next time" I say, they nod apologising and I dish up food

We talked a little more, watched some tv and then went to bed. I had a bath to help my sore back, it helped a little bit but not a lot so I took some pain meds, read my book for a while and then went to sleep.
