Chapter 4

Camilas pov

I was in school at lunch with my friends when I saw Lauren, I smile at her when she looks my way and she smiles lightly back, I was expecting for her to walk over but she just looks away after and walks away causing me to frown. I wanted her to sit with my friends and me because I want to get to know her, I may have talked to her yesterday and let her sit with us out of pity but she was actually really sweet, well the little things she said were. She also has no friends and that's clear, I know something bad is going on between her Shawn and Austin because when is anything good going on with those two boys.

"Hey guys, I'll be back in a second" I say, my friends nod and I run to where Lauren had walked. I see her going through her locker, I walk over and she looks when she feels a presence next to her.

"Hey Lauren, do you want to come sit with me and my friends again?" I ask, she shook her head

"I'm just going to go to the library and read" she basically whispers, I walk a little closer because she was so quiet.

"You can read at the table, it would be nice to have you there again" I say, she looks at her book then me.

"It's too loud for me to read in the cafeteria" she mumbled, I sigh

"Please, I want to get to know you" I say, she looks at me and I send her a soft smile

"I don't...I just want to read" she mumbled, I nod

"Fine, I'll go to the library with you" I say, she frowns

"What? No you're friends" Lauren said, i shrug

"I'll text them, they'll get it" I say, Lauren sighed

"I can't stop you" she mumbled, I smile texting the group chat that I'm with Lauren, they said it was cool.

On the way I decided to make a little conversation because she wasn't, she didn't seem to talk much.

"So, what do you like to do?" I ask, she shrugs

"Read, draw" she said, I nod

"That's cool" I say, she nods and looks at me softly

"What about you?" She asked, I smile

"I like to listen to music, I also play the guitar and piano and bit, I like to hang out with my friends, meet new people, I also like to read and play with my little sister Sofia" I say, she nods and walks into the library holding the door open for me.

"Thank you!" I smile at Lauren, she nods and sits at a free table as did I

Lauren read and I sat there watching her, she looks up a little creeped out.

"Uh...you're uh staring is a little off putting" she whispers, I go a little wide eyed and nod

"Im sorry" I say, she nods and looks at her book

"What's your favourite colour?" I ask, she looks at me and I smile at her softly, she has amazing eyes.

"Blue" she mumbled, I nod

"I like green" I say, she nods

"It recently changed, it was red" I say, by recently I mean just a few seconds ago when I realised how nice her eyes were, that's not creepy right?

"Cool" she said, I nod

"Do you have any siblings?" I ask, she looks at me then her book and the closed her book with a soft sigh, she knew I wasn't going to stop asking questions.

"Yes, Chris my little brother and Taylor my little sister" Lauren said, I smile softly

"You know I have a little sister named Sofia because I mentioned her on the way here, she's my only sibling and I love her a lot" I say, she nods.

"That's nice" she whispers, I nod

"I've read to kill a mockingbird, it's a good book" I say, she looks at her book and nod

"It's is" is all she said, I sigh as she didn't say anything else but then the bell went.

"What calls do you have?" I ask as she got up, she looks at me before looking back to where she was walking.

"Art" she said, I nod

"I have English" I say, she nods and we stayed in silence until we parted ways

"It was nice talking to you" I say, she smiles softly and nods

"You too" she said and then walked away, I walk to my class I had with Harry

"Hey, how was talking to Lauren?" He asked, i sigh

"She's like really shy, she doesn't make conversation she just answers my questions and asks them back" I say, he nods.

"I mean, you did just kind of make her sit with us the first few minutes you met" he said, I roll my eyes and nod.

"I don't know, there's something about her that just makes me want to be her best friend or something" I say, he chuckles.

"Maybe you have a crush on her" he said, I roll my eyes

"We met yesterday" I say, he nods and looks at me then the teacher as the teacher started to talk

"Ever head of love at first sight?" He whispers, I chuckle and we listen to the teacher as she gave us a warning look.
