Chaewon went towards Sooyoung's bed. Sooyoung was lying on a bed at the corner of the big clinic room. She had bandages all over her head, a few deep scratches and many bruises all over her skin. They had placed a new, better metallic foot on her leg and they had bandaged it as well. Next to her was Jiwoo sitting on a chair. She had mostly bruises and a few deep scars that were cleaned and treated. Chaewon sighed. At least Jiwoo wasn't that badly hurt.

"Unnie?" She said loud enough for Sooyoung to hear. Sooyoung didn't say anything though. She was just lying on the bed, almost lifelessly.

"Can she listen to me?" She asked Jiwoo.

"Wendy unnie said she can. But she's too shocked to talk. Let her rest." Jiwoo said sadly as she caressed Sooyoung's hand. Chaewon nodded. She took a chair and sat next to them.

"You still have time to cancel it you know. I... I don't want to see anyone else like this or worse!" Jiwoo said and ended up crying.

"She's supposed to hear me! But she's been lifeless for hours! I'm worried! But at the same time I get her! I mean... look at her! She's so shocked that... she can't even talk to me. It hurts Chae. It hurts watching her like this. Back in the house, when she first transformed, she had closed up to herself and she was so afraid of herself. It hurt me. And I told myself that I was never going to let this happen. And look at us! I was so useless back there that I let this happen again!" Jiwoo said again, between her cries.

"Shhh, unnie. It's not your fault. You couldn't have done anything to prevent this from happening. So stop blaming yourself and crying. Sooyoung unnie is sad, hearing you crying unnie." Jiwoo tried her best to stop crying as she kept caressing Sooyoung's hand.

"I... it hurts."

"At least she's alive."

"Yeah... Chae, please! Promise me you won't go. You still have time. I can tell Jinsoul unnie to help you hide somewhere if they'll start searching for you. Please just-"

"...let her go, Jiwoo. It's... something she needs to do. I... would have done the same if it was you..." Sooyoung mumbled slowly.

"What?" Jiwoo asked, shocked. Sooyoung couldn't talk for more so she just tightened her hold on Jiwoo's hand.

'I love you.' She mouthed to her.

"Oh, Sooyoung. I love you too." Jiwoo said as she teared up and kissed Sooyoung's hand.

"Where is Park Chaewon?" Solji asked as she, Kai, Hongjoong and N came into the clinic room.

"I'm over here." Chaewon said calmly. She was still sitting in the chair next to Jiwoo and Sooyoung. The couple had fallen asleep after a while. Chaewon felt glad that they had because she wouldn't have been able to leave the place peacefully otherwise. She was arranging her backpack at the moment. She raised her head to look at the newcomers.

"Are you ready?" Solji asked her sweetly as she formed a smile at her. Chaewon nodded her head.

"Such a pity. You're so young and beautiful." Solji said as she bit her lips.

"That's your way of encouraging her?" N asked Solji.

"What?"

"I'm ready." They heard a deeper voice from behind them and saw Hyunjin climbing down the stairs and coming towards them. She was also wearing her own backpack and holding a few guns in her hands.

"I got this from Soyeon. She said we'll need them. This is a pistol. One of the fastest in the whole universe. Not too heavy and silent as well. It's mostly for close distance hits." Hyunjin said as she threw her backpack down next to Chaewon and showed her the guns one by one.
