Heejin whined. She opened her eyes slowly slowly and rubbed them with her hands to wash off the sleepiness. But as soon as her hand made contact with her left eye and nose she yelped in pain.

"Ouch!"

"Heejin? Are you ok?" Kahei mumbled. They were all too sleepy. It was too early in the morning. Heejin could tell by how dark the sky was still. She wasn't even sure why the vampires wanted them to start their journey from that early. She was too sleepy for walking somewhere in the woods, heading to an unknown place to her, and soon getting killed by the vampires' king.

"My eye hurts... I wonder why!" Heejin said sarcastically as she looked at Hyunjin in disbelief. The girl flinched and lowered her head mumbling an apology.

"Yeah it seems to hurt a lot. From how bruised it is." Sooyoung said as she looked at her.

"Bruised?" Heejin asked.

"Mhm. It's dark purple and swollen." Jiwoo said as she gathered their stuff.

"Wha- swollen?" Well, they weren't wrong. She could barely see from that eye. It was indeed swollen. Her eyelid at least was the most swollen part of her eye. Heejin groaned at the realization.

"Hyunjin!" She yelled.

"Hey you're not the only one with a bruised eye." Hyunjin mumbled back. She never said anything about her own eye that Hyejoo had punched yesterday at their fight. She hadn't because she knew she deserved it. She deserved it for being so stupid.

"Yeah I'm not but I wasn't even part of the fight!"

"Good morning girls! Oh, did I interrupt something?" Another brown haired vampire said as soon as he got in the cave to check up on them.

"No, Ken, you didn't. We're ready by the way." YooA said. Yeoreum was standing by her side and she was holding her hand. She could feel how drained YooA was and she didn't like it.

"Good. Because we need to go. Ah, also! Don't try escaping. We're strong vampires and we'll find you in any minute. Also, don't try using any spells or your powers because it obviously doesn't work on these ropes. Now, let's go!" He said and grabbed the rope that all the girls' hands were tied up and started walking. The girls didn't have any other way than to follow him.

___

And by following him, and the rest of the gang, meant that they were going to really follow them. Everywhere. Heejin sighed. Their only chance to go to that house that Minji knew was lost long ago. The vampires were heading them to their king, which seemed to be on the other side of the forest than where the girls were heading at, at first.

Come to think of it, their lives had changed in just a few months. A lot. They had been locked in a cursed house, met ghosts, transformed into vampires, transformed Yeoreum into a wolf, then meeting the witches' nightmares, then getting out of the house, breaking the curse, leaving their previous lives and families because no one remembered them anymore because suddenly seven years had passed by and not just a few months, and then, they got into the forest, trying to find of a place to stay. And now, they were captured by some vampires and soon, they were going to meet their king.

Heejin just couldn't think of anything anymore. Everything was unpredictable, their future was unpredictable. And even though she was afraid to die, she could feel it that there was more to it. She wouldn't die just yet.

They were walking for a long time. So long that they couldn't even be sure if it had passed a day, a week, or even a month. The forest seemed to change, drastically in fact, but it was never day time. It was only night, so they really couldn't understand what was going on. The forest was magical, and it had its own weather. A really weird, and unpredictable one.
