Sterling's POV

Blair wasn't kidding about this place.It was beautiful and the resort was designed accustomed to April's taste.She was always particular with things and undeniably her taste is spectacular.

"I can't believe there was such places." I started and she chuckled, looking at me.

"Of course there is.Let's check in and we can figure out what to do next." April lead the way as the bell boy took our luggage to the resort.

"Welcome to Lakeside Resort! Do you have a reservation?" A young mannered lady greeted us and April nodded.

"And under whose name?"

"Miss Stevens."

"Okay...the room will be ready in about 10 mins and you could wait in the lobby before someone escorts you to your executive suite."

"Thank you."

April took my hands, leading me to the lobby area where other guests were waiting patiently for their rooms as well.

"So..what are your thoughts?" She faced me and I smiled.

"I think it's perfect, and we finally get to spend alone time together, far from our family and friends."

"So...I was thinking we could go for hikes and explore the place.I'm sure nature doesn't hurt any of us." She nudged as she looks over at her phone, scrolling through the activities.

"And here I thought we were on a vacation." I joked, and she rolled her eyes. "I'm sure you'll love it."

I took her hands and interlocked them with mine,as we wait for our room to be sorted out.

"Miss Stevens.Your room is prepared.May I guide you there?" We nodded and he took us to the top floor where private suites are.

He opened the door and holy Molly,it was a view.The living room was spacious where there was black leather couch, with a cooler filled with drinks and snacks at the side.The window pane clearly gave us the whole view to the nature reserve and the table had magazines and newspapers perfectly spread out.

The dim lighting in the bedroom sets the tone of the afternoon and the keystone queen sized bed had a silk blanket with enough room for two.

Let's not even talk about the bathroom because the things I would do to April in there...

"I will leave you to it, if you need room service, be sure to give us a call.Thank you." The staff closed the door behind, and my eyes were still everywhere.

However,April has already set her eyes on the bed and charge towards it and jumps on it.I followed closely behind, and jumps on top of her.Her fast reflexes didn't allow it and she stood up right in time.

"Pfft." I huffed and she laughed.

"Finally a bed with no distractions and disturbance." I sighed, lying comfortably on the bed.

"Right..." April looks down on me and I smirked.I pulled her by the waist and she tumbled on top of me and laughed.

"This is the view that I was looking forward to actually." I kissed her softly and takes in her familiar scent.

"Okay...we could do that later but I have made plans for this trip."

"C'mon don't be a party pooper,babe." I pulled her in again and she giggled.
