Cell of a Soul

The walls slowly close in,
They draw closer,
Crushing each bone.
My sanity, it fades away.
I look into the deep darkness,
Searching for innocence.
I look behind every corner,
Searching for myself.
Suddenly I realize where I am.
I know these walls,
These bars,
This shallow cell;
It's my own soul.
