House of Secrets

Chapter 1

Long ago there was a story that was never told. My grandmother's story in the House of Secrets.

Year 2000 - Aria Smithe - New York City, New York, USA

My name is Aria Smithe, I'm an investigative journalist. Recently I've received a case that I am in charge of investigating, my grandmother's story.

My grandmother, Valerie Smithe. She was a famous and well-known journalist that documented the world war. She was an investigative journalist; her works were also widely spread as the documentations of an important part in history. I'm going to investigate some of her works that were never finished. At the time my grandmother was one of the chief journalists that were supposed to be focused only on the documentation, nothing else.

Only seconds into this project and it's already all over the world.

I've done a few searches around my mother's old house and I've found a few clues. I found out that my grandmother kept a journal during and after the war that kept all the secrets and where they hid during the world war. I also found out that she lived on an island after the war, The Isle of The Falls. I've heard that The Isle of The Falls was a wonderful place to live in, but it got ruined after a volcano erupted on the island. I figured I should start there on the island. So, I tried to look for plane tickets to go there, turns out they stopped sending planes thereafter the volcano erupted in 1939 - when world war two started.

After a long talk with my manager, Olivia Richards, she finally let me go on a private plane to The Isle of The Falls.

"You can take the company's private plane for investigating," Olivia stated.

With that, I went home and did some research. After searching I also figured out where exactly my grandmother lived on the island. She lived in an old house on the island. The very next day I was on a plane flying 7000 kilometres away from New York.
