New York City, New York, USA
As soon as I got off the plane, I made my way to my office to write an email to James McMire.
September 1st, 2000
Dear Mr. McMire,
My name is Aria Smithe, I am a professional investigative journalist and I am writing this email regarding my grandmother, Valerie Smithe. I would like to know some more information about her past. From some information that I already know of my grandmother, you and my grandmother have worked together in the early 1900s on a project called "The Political Crisis''. I will be writing a report in The New York Times finishing one of the stories on my grandmother's past documentations. If you are wondering how I am going to prove that the story is from The Valerie Smithe, I have solid proof of one of the projects that she was working on before the world war. I also have photographs taken by Amanda Stones, one of your colleagues during the late 1900s while you were working on journal documentation and a project with my grandmother and a few of your other colleagues. I will kindly let you know that my grandmother's story will make it into the paper around September 12th. However, I still would like your cooperation with this article. I will also like to meet you in your office sometime for an interview on the first world war documentaries.
With Kind Regards,
Aria Smithe
After sending the email to James McMire, I got a reply a few days later from his secretary.
