A Few Days Later

My report was published today and is not even a few hours' time, the news of Valerie Smithe was spread across the entirety of New York City. Not to mention it had made its way to one of the top news stories of all time. In the end, I decided to leave James McMire's story out of the report on Valerie Smithe. No doubt that that would cause complete chaos in NYC. On top of that, I had already (rotten a response from James McMire about the threat. Even if I didn't know if the reason was true or not. I still believed it, considering it was his job on the line and I don't think he would put his entire career into this. A few days after I had published the report on my grandmother, James McMire had held a press conference to help explain my grandmother's story a bit more. He added that my grandmother was a great achiever and was a huge help to the company that they worked at. James McMire also stated that my grandmother was one of the best reporters he had ever seen. When he finished his press conference, he told me that he would give up his job and go live on the island. At first, I didn't believe him, but then it was spread all over the news that the famous James McMire was retiring and going to live on the now well-known Isle of The Falls.

Since Aria Smithe's report on The Isle of The Falls, there have been a lot more tourists going to the island to admire its alluring beauty. There are also many people that were interested in the house Valerie Smithe once lived in, yet these people will never have an answer. After more investigation Aria Smithe had found a will in the house, on the will, the house was given to none other than herself, Aria Smithe. Since she found out that she was the house's rightful owner she had not let anyone into the house itself and only she lived inside the house. Aria soon gave the house the name of "The House of Secrets'' because of all the priceless information her grandmother had left in it. Aria Smithe stopped working at the peak point of her career after she had found the will and decided to make her own life on the island where her grandmother once lived. Occasionally, she would walk to the waterfall next to the house in the forest admiring its eternal beauty.
