It's been two weeks since Brazil. Two weeks of us finding nothing on where the hell Reggie is being hidden. Two weeks of trying to teach Vinnie how to fight. Sam and Harry are still not talking at all from what I can tell. Aiden and Sam made up. Rose has been happier. She spends most of her time with Silas or Aiden or in the kitchen with Marla.

I haven't gotten the courage to ask her how the hell she was in Brazil with Calgri so I mostly keep out of her way. We never really talked while she lived with Aiden. She was so much older than me that I didn't have much in common with her. But, her and Silas seem to be attached at the hip and I'm happy for them.

Silas and Aiden fought it out in the ring the day after we got back and so they seem to be ok now. Vinnie has stuck around me. Nothing has happened. I've been trying to teach him how to take a beating and Sam has gladly helped me. He has a far way to go but he knows how to dodge a punch.

Currently, Vinnie and I are sitting in the middle of the ring. I just punched him a little too hard and his nose is bleeding. He is holding a cloth up to it as I gulp down water. A ring tone startles me out of my daze and Vinnie picks up his phone. The caller ID reads his mom.

"Shit." He says. I watched him as he pressed the answer button. "Hey mom!" He tries to sound yippy.

"Vincent Cole Hacker!" I hear Maria yell from the other end of the phone and Vinnie winces. "Where in the hell are you and your brother?" She yells.

"Oh yeah. I'm sorry for not calling you. We met up with a friend in Brazil and we're staying at their place. Reggie told me he told you." He lies. I chuckle and shake my head.

"I want your asses home. Now." She barks on the other end.

"Mom, we can't because there is a hurricane and all flights are canceled." He says. He's not lying. It is pouring rain outside. It's not in Brazil though. "I'll call you when we board the plane." He says and looks at me. I nod my head and I hear Maria exhale.

"I love you Vinnie. Please be safe." She says and they say their farewells. Vinnie hangs up and looks at me. His nose has stopped bleeding now and we just sit there staring at each other.

"That's going to be a problem." I say.

"Yeah, no shit." He says and looks out the gym door. The rain hasn't lightened at all, if not it has gotten harder.

"We could send them on a two month cruise." I shrug.

"You can do that?" He arches a brow.

"Yeah. Harry just has to call and say someone entered their name and that they one a full paid cruise." I explain. "Come on, let's go talk to him." I stand up and offer Vinnie a hand. He takes it and we stand. Our body's are close as I pull him up and I hold my breath as his naked torso brushes against my tummy. I'm wearing a sports bra and wish I was wearing way less at this moment.

We climb out of the ring and I don't bother to grab my jacket as I walk out the door, into the pouring rain. Harry's lab is about a quarter mile across the yard. I walk with Vinnie at my side, the cold rain hitting my bare skin and making goosebumps erupt on my skin.

We finally make it to Harry's lab and I run a hand over my face and eyes. I hear something hit the wall and then a yell. "Just get the fuck out Sam!" I hear Harry scream. Seconds later Sam slams through the door. He doesn't look at us as he walks into the pouring rain. Vinnie and I exchange looks and then we enter the lab.

Harry is swinging a crowbar and smashing glass cups and monitors. I run up to him and I dodge the crowbar. "Harry!" I yell and he stops him swinging and he turns his head toward me. I turn to Vinnie and he understands. He turns around and walks out the door, jogging toward Sam. I turn back to Harry and he is in the same position as before.
