Two weeks later and I am packing yet again. I feel like I haven't stayed in a place for very long my entire life. Like I am always on the move and always running to or from something. Hopefully when we get Reggie back, I can sit in a house and not have to worry about anyone I love getting captured or killed.
I throw the rest of my things in the duffle bag and look at the time. I have twenty minutes until we get on the jet.
The night Vinnie stayed in my room, I slept better than I ever have. But when I woke up and he was gone, a hard ping hit me and I decided not to mention it at all. We continued training, planning and going on with the daily banter. Not once has either of us mentioned it.
"Let's go chika. We have a plane to catch." Harry says as he leans against the doorframe. I look over at him as I zip up the duffle bag and sling it over my shoulder.
"Harry, a piece of advice. We are going to Spain. Scary people live in Spain. Mocking their language and culture is not what you should do." I pat his shoulder as I walk past. He seems better. Less tense, but still not talking to Sam.
"Right." He sighs and follows after me. We walk down the stairs and meet everyone in the foyer. Vinnie looks different. A good difference, don't get me wrong. But he isn't the boy I met six months ago in LA. He looks more man than boy. He looks older, more mature perhaps. His bullet wound is nearly all healed.
He got a haircut. Not very different but it's shorter now. His shoulders are stronger and his biceps are double the size then when we left Brazil. He even seems taller, and the cold look on his face makes me barely recognize him. He hasn't talked to me at all. The casual greetings and the instruction as we train but no mention of Reggie or his parents.
Dad isn't coming again for some reason. Something about drawing too much attention. Silas and Rose are staying behind as well to make sure that if anything goes wrong, they can inform anyone. Harry is going of course, as well as Sam and Aiden, Vinnie and myself. I hope this doesn't become a thing.
"Let's go kick some Spanish ass." Sam says and I cock a brow at him.
"You do realize we are both Spanish?" I ask. Sam nods and I just shake my head. "Let's go."

Spain is just like I remembered. Hot and fucking miserable. Don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful place to visit. But living here for the first ten years of my life, you get sick off it. We will be staying at Marla's old house. It's an adorable town house with three bedrooms and a kitchen.
We would stay at our old house but I found out that Dad had it demolished. Yeah.
I push open the door and the smell of dust and sitting water hits my nostrils. No one has touched this house in eighteen years and for some reason I have the divine urge to clean every inch. "I'll get to it." I mumble and take the first step into the house.
The guys all walk up the creaky stairs and moments later Harry comes back down. "Aiden and Sam are sharing. I need my own for all my software so that leaves..." He trails off and I understand what he is saying.
"Great." I mutter to myself and then start cleaning the small kitchen. I watch Harry take off his leather jacket and start to roll up the sleeves of his long sleeve shirt. "What are you doing?" I ask. His green eyes look up at me.
"Well I'm not going to let you clean this dump alone. You may be a woman El but men belong in the kitchen too." He jokes and I bump my hip against his. "Vinnie is going out with Aiden and Sam to train. So why stay hauled in that small room if I can help out my favorite princess." He bumps me back.
I laugh along with him and then we get to cleaning. "Does he seem different to you?" I ask after a moment of silence. "Vinnie I mean." I add.
"Well, I don't know." He shrugs. "I don't know him like you do. He seems a little colder but, I don't know." Harry says.
