Third person POV

Will was at the paper lantern waiting for Layla. He knew he had messed up, he heard everything that Gwen said to her. And if wasn't right of her to say that. Layla was his best friend. And the only one to stand up to Gwen was Laylas tea best friend. His sister. He's never felt more of a piece of shit then he does right now. And he knows it's his fault. He sighed and shook his head. Ugh! He felt like shit and it's his own damn fault. He tried to call her, but every time he called her, it just went to voicemail. 'Great'. He thought. She didn't even want to talk to him. He tried leaving message after message. But he soon found out that her voicemail box was now full. Thanks to him. He groaned and hit his head against the table.
Warren soon walks over with a tray of empty glasses, he raises a confused eyebrow at him. "What are you doing here?". He asked Will. "I-um, I'm waiting for Layla. Do you know where she is?", Will asked him. "How should I know?". Warren said in confusion. "I don't know. Your taking her to homecoming", Will said shrugging, he knew he was being an ass to his best friend and to his sister.

"Oh, yeah. Right". Warren said rolling his eyes, he almost forgot that he was taking Layla instead of Allison. "Well, you don't have to worry about me ruining your night", Will said sadly. He knew when he's been defeated and it sucks. "And why's that?", Warren asked him. The whole point of them going together was to get Will jealous. "Cause I'm not going". Will said. Warren hmm'd and set down the tray of cups. "Hmm well that sucks", Warren said. He sat down on the other side of Will. "Because were only going to make you jealous", Warren said in a matter of fact voice. Will was confused, to make him jealous? "Huh?". Will asked in confusion. "Dude, your so stupid. She's totally into you", Warren said shaking his head at the idiot in front of him. "Not after tonight. Won't be surprised if Layla, my sister or any of the other guys will talk to me again", Will said. "Yeah, must of been a real jerk. Cause no matter what I do, I can't get them to stop talking to me". Warren said shrugging. "Thanks". Will said, he knew that what Warren had said was right, and he needed to fix this.

Warren was about to leave when Will had a question. "Hey, What does Allison think about you taking Layla to homecoming?". Will asked him. Warren turned around to look at him, and what surprised Will was the smile on warrens lips, no matter how small it was. It still surprised him. "At first she didn't know about the plan, but then I told her, because now she's on it too. Me and your sister are together, and if you do man up and fix this, then maybe I can go to homecoming with my girlfriend", he said as he turned back around. Making his way back to the kitchen. He really hoped that Will did man up, so he can take his girlfriend to the homecoming tomorrow.
