Powers

Allison's POV

*SIGH*

It was time for class again. It was most likely mine and wills turn. GREAT! *SIGH* I guess I can do this.

I watched in horror as my brother was standing on the stage with coach boomer. I knew this was going to turn nasty quick. I grimaced. Here we go.

Wow, well this was awkward. Since he was the one to step on first. Great. My brother is going to be a side kick. Great. Just flipping great. The only one in the family without any Powers. Lovely. (Sarcasm😒) I shook my head and rested my head on top of my palm. Here we go. I watched as he leaned in and whispered something to the coach. Oh great, here we go. The coach pulled back in surprise. "What do you mean, you don't know what your power is?", the coach asked him. Will shuttered and stuttered. "Well.....uh......", but Will wasn't able to finish his sentence. Because the coach started to laugh like whatever Will had told him was funny.

"I got it. Your Messin' with the coach. Just like your old man", he said as if Will was actually joking with him. Oh this is just lovely, lovely I say. "Car!", he yelled and out of nowhere a car came from the ceiling and dropped on top of Will. I grimaced. That was a close one. "Are you Insane?!", Will yelled. He peeked out from under the car. "I don't have super strength!", Will yelled at the coach. I sighed and ran a hand down my face. The coach looked confused and clicked a button on his little control thingy.

I watched as Will got up and patted himself down. "Oh, I get it. Your a flier, just like your ma. Why didn't you tell me so?", the coach said. And then there he went. Will went flying out of nowhere. I grimaced again, knowing that he doesn't fly either. I flinched at the sound of his body hitting the pillar of the gym. Ouch. I walked over to him and helped him up. "You okay?", I asked him. He sighed and nodded. I saw the coach appear next to me.

"Quit messin' around. I haven't got all day. What's your power?", the coach said. I sighed, I knew what was going to happen. "I don't have one", Will said as he sighed. The coach sighed. "Stronghold. Siiiiide...........kick!", he roared out as he pointed to my brother. I sighed and shook my head. I tried to get away, trying to see if I can get out of class without being called on. "Other stronghold. Front and center", he said as he pointed to me. I sighed and nodded. I made my way through the crowd of people. I walked up onto the stage. I looked up at the coach. "Tell me, you at least have a power, right?", he asked me. I looked at Will. I knew he would be mad with me for not telling him that I had powers. But he's my twin. He'll forgive me. I looked back at the coach. I nodded.

I looked up at the coach again. "I would move out of the way", I said. He looked confused but still did as I said. I could feel my eyes changing another color and my feet lifting up from the ground. I could feel the cold running through my veins. I could see the white snow come from my fingers tips. And before I knew it. I had made a sculptor of a high ice wall. I heard gasps come from the other students. I sighed and looked back at the coach. "How's that for powers?", I asked sadly. I never liked showing people my powers. It only caused people to be afraid of me. That's why I never told will.

"Ice powers and flying. Hero", the coach said as he wrote it down. "Ice and water", I said as I raised a hand towards the wall of ice. It absorbed into water and slowly absorbed itself into me. I flew back onto the ground and I saw everyone looking at me. I sighed and grabbed my stuff and as soon as the bell rang, I was out of there. I hated when people stared. It wasn't fun for me. "Ally! Ally! Wait!", I heard will yell after me. I sighed and turned to him. "I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry I didn't tell you, for two reasons. I was afraid you would get jealous of me getting my powers before you. I never saw myself higher then you, I still don't. Your my brother will and you always will be. And second, well. I was afraid you would be scared of me once you found out about my powers. Everyone besides mom and dad, were scared of what I could do. A-And, it's not fair. I would never want you to fear me, I would never harm you or anyone. So, that's that, and I'll see you back at home", I said as I turned around and made my way out of the school. I sighed and walked my way off of the school. My flying still a little unsteady. But at that time, I didn't really care. Just as long as I get to go home. I needed to do something else that could take my mind off things.

I soon made it home, being a little discreet. So no humans could see me flying. I made my way into the house after unlocking the door. Mom and dad were of course not home yet. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed something to nibble on. Of course it was a fruit cup. I love those things. After getting my snack and something to drink. I made my way up the stairs and up to my room. I sighed again and closed my door. Ready to distract myself from the very thing I dread tomorrow.
