Chapter Two

The boat came to a abrupt stop the seemingly never ending journey to Wall Rose. I was currently lead against Eren he was twirling my (H/C) in his fingers. We barely spoke on the journey to Wall Rose the only noise we could here is the sobs of the people who had viciously lost their family and friends to the monsters we bow down too , the monsters we lost our freedom too , Titans."Everybody, prepare to exit the boat," I hear one of the Military Police member shout from the roof of a nearby building. I stand up not saying a word as the group of four children. walk off the boat not straying apart from each other.
"I'm going to go find my Granddad," Armin states before walking away into the crowd of people who are trying to find a place to stay the night at. I nod silently at Armin, even though his back his turned. Eren yawns the fatigue clear in his features.
"We need to find a place to stay at for the night its been a long day today," Mikasa mummers looking at Eren. I look around the the dock spotting a storage room. Completely open, stone floors, wooden structure it wont be warm but at least if it rains we wont get drenched.
"What about over there?" I say pointing at the structure. They both nod not much of a reply but Eren lost his mother so did Mikasa they wont be talkative. I make my way over to the building sitting down in the far corner as Eren and Mikasa sit near the front. I look down at the Garrison Jacket, I wonder if Alic made it out safely , I hope so he was nice, I owe my life to him. Before I know it my eyes close.

I wake up stretching my arms, my eyes taking their time to adjust to the lighting, I look over at Eren and Mikasa, Both still asleep, I take a deep breath leaning up against the wall. Why now? I think to myself everything was going fine then the titans had to come and ruin everything, as usual my whole life has been broken because of the Titans , my Dad , my Mum and my childhood. I feel a tear hit my hand, Since when was I crying I wipe away my tears , before standing up and walking over to where Eren and Mikasa I notice Eren is crying in his sleep, I wake up Mikasa. " Mikasa, we need to get some rations for us , they wont last long too many people here." I say softly to her she nod shaking Eren.
"Eren you were crying in your sleep.." she says in a monotone voice.
"I thought I saw Dad it felt so real Mikasa." Eren reply glumly while stretching.
"We need to get the rations," Mikasa repeats my word from before. Eren nods standing up as we make our way over to the Military Police, as they hand out the bread.
"One piece per person"
"What ? I haven't eaten since yesterday !"
I feel like shouting out I haven't eaten in three days but no one would care.... I'm happy I'm having something despite it's only bread. Eren reaches over too me handing me a piece of bread I nod at him as a way of saying thank you. He gives me a small half smile in return.
"Looks at these animals stealing out food why couldn't they stay in Maria!" I hear a MP say with venom dripping from his voice. I clench my fist glaring at the man. Before I could say anything Eren was stood in front off him.
"How could you say that? You weren't there you don't know what is it like to see your family being killed you ... you are cowards staying safe hidden behind the walls"
SMACK
Before Eren could finish what he was saying the MP hit him across the face with a lot of power . I dart over too Eren side scowling at the MP. " Your a disgusting pig," I say to the MP as Eren holds his jaw in his hand. The man smirks grabbing my hair
" Treed carefully little lamb," he lets go of my hair laughing with his friend. Mikasa and Armin over saw what was happening and came over to us, Armin stares at the man.
"Sorry about my friends, they are just a bit restless after all we have had a tough day," Armin finishes off with a nervous laughter the MP just lets out a grunt as Armin and Mikasa grabs Eren and I taking us to a empty area near the the docks. We are silent for a bit.
"I'm gonna join the scout and I'm gonna kill them all!" Eren says cruelly breaking his bread in half and handing me half I try to give it back but he just a shakes his head at me.
"Wherever you go I follow." Mikasa say to Eren voice monotone
"So am I," Armin agrees everyone looks at me and I shake my head.

"Why aren't you joining Survey corps (Y/N)?" Eren ask me , disappointment in his voice. What am I meant to say ? I have a secret keeping me from joining the Survey Corps, Garrison or the Military Police a secret I could struggle to keep contained in moments like the moments I would face in them three. 

"As much as I want to see the outside world , I don't want to see it for a moment then my memories of it being comrades dying and Titans," I say softly not looking at them they nod in understanding. I let out a sigh of relief when they agree with me and don't ask further questions, about that subject.

"I know this is a personal question but what happened to you parents (Y/N)?" Armin say looking up at me sympathy in his. Do I lie to the only people who know and probably care about me or do I tell the truth and loose them  as friends ? They stare at me while I think of ways to answer them.

"My mum was in the Scouting Legion she went on a expedition she sacrificed herself to save her group..." all the truth ".... my father couldn't cope with the stress and just upped and went one day." a complete lie but oh well they will never find out. ... hopefully.

"I... I I'm sorry about that" I hear Armin mutter nervously I just shrug at him not really wanting his or anyone's sympathy. Eren looks at me, Mikasa keeping here emotionless face .  The rest of the day was spent making small talk and Eren trying to get me to join scouts .. with no luck,

REEEEEALLLLLYYY BAAAADDD chapter todaaaaaayyyy but hopefully the next chapter will better as a lot of things will be cleared up in the process xD cause you don't even know your secret yet or do you ?  What do you think your secret is ?
