Seconds ticked by into minutes . Minutes into hours . Hours that's how long I was sat in that hallway. My mind racing with so many things all because of one thing. One little thing that shouldn't make a difference to me but it does. Why ? I don't know.
"(y/n)!" I hear a voice shout but my mind is too far away to figure out who it is. His hand touched my shoulder my mind racing into reality. The person forms in my vison. Eren. "There you are! (Y/N) we need to go down for a equipment check Hanji's experiments were killed." he says in one breath. I knod in response standing up and dusting myself off. Stuffing the book into my pocket. We start walking to the hall. I unbuckle my 3DMG on my way there putting it all in my hands. Eren doing the same. I place it on the table when we get there standing next to it.
My eyes scan the room, stood at the front is the Midget and Hanji. Her eyes red and puffy from crying but no tears in sight. In some ways I feel bad for her she must of really loved them Titans.
"When did you last replace your shaft?" a cruel voice takes me out of my fantasty world.
"Erm as soon as I arrived here I think." I say trying to sound confident
"Right...." aa female voice says she ticks something on her little ticky bored.
"Why is it only cadets." I mutter to Eren as they walk over to another Cader Sall, Sally? No Sasha.
"They think it's someyhing to do with Trost." I knod in response going quite. I recongnized a few faces from Trost but not many names. Names... I'm not good with names.
When it was all over. Nothing was found. Eren and I were clearing out the stables when I over heard Eld and Gunther talking.
"I'm more concerned about the recruitment drive. How many cadets are crazy enough to join the scouts?" Eld says I scowl at him the cadets have just been trhough hell and all he can think about is who joined.
"Hey Eren anyone of your friends thinking of joining the scouts."
Eren looks up away from the horse he was feeding. "Yeah a few.... At least there were not sure now." The sound of horses' hooves hitting the dusty ground stop in the courtyard. Everyone Salutes and the rider - Levi - I don't earning a scowl from him.Eren runs up to him , stopping and saluting ."Reporting fro duty Sir."
"Eren, you and (Y/N) are too be no more than ten meters away from me at any time." I roll my eyes at this rule what are we meant to do bring a measuring stick to make sure we are no more than ten metere away from him. I nod breifly at him before darting over and mount my pure white stallion (Horse/Name or Jean?). He neighs slightly as I jump onto him, causing me to hush him quietly. I trot out of the stable standing next to Levi.
"Did you find out what was in that book." I hear his voice mutter just loud enough for me to here.
"Oh yeah... need to tell you and Hanji about it but not now later." I reply with. He nods in reply as the rest of the group comes over Eren included.
"Head out!" Levi shouts kicking his horse into a gallop. I do the same to mine our cape flying behind us as if they are trying to escape.

When we arrive it's night time, and Eren adn I are currently stood at the back of the stage, facing the Cadets, listening to Erwin's join the corps speech which they are currently explaining about our plan to take back Maria,
"60% of the scouting numbers have died in the last year." my jaw drops open at that number.
"T Th they expect people to keep fighting after they said that?" I mutter quietly Eren just looked up at me and gives me a warm smile back. He looked like he was going to say something but Levi's glare shut him up.
"Recruit from your ranks will be expecteed to take part I estimate a third of them will die." Gasp erupts from the audience "After four years most will be dead." I wince at that the thought of death somewhat scaring me. "The ones who survie are some of the most capable soldiers out there.Now having heard this dismal state of affairs those who choose to join the scouts stay here. But before you choose ask your self this : Can you give your heart can you give Everything for humantity!" Erwin shouts the last part causing me to jup slightly Levi chuckles lightly at this. "That is all."
The shuffling of feet is heard. I look up from the wooden floor and my feet. Seeinf many retreating figures of the scared cadets. I look at Eren sadly. I see a few people stood in the crowd looking back at the others. I smile slightly atleast we have some. A couple mintues pass and a few recruits stood there seeming proud of their choice. Erwin stands up again at the front of the stage.
"I ask you if you were orderd to die would you do it"?
"We don't want to die sir!" One of the Cadets shout back.
"Of course let us hope that you dont then. You who stayed you are now one of us a valued member of the scour regiement! Togehter we salute!" as he finishes of he saultes ,one fist on his heart the other on his back. Eren, the Cadets and I do the same standing up straight. I see some of them mutter. My eyes scan the Cadets.
"Armin, Mikasa." I smile slightly when I see them. Some of the Cadets looks scared too late now there hear they made it.
"Those of you standing here have worked through you fears, you have proven yourselves corageous each one of your has my respect!"
Short chapter again I know but I really hated this episode with the passion so don't hate me ALSO OVER 800+ VIEWS GUYS I LOVE YOU SO SO SO MUCH * Internet hug!* I didn't expect his to happen like ever just look at my over books xD!
