Outsider Levi x Reader Insert

Chapter Nine: Part one-ish

Me and my 'Father' were sat around the table in utter silence. It wasn't like we spoke much anyway . I slouch , causing a seering pain in my side , I lift the corner of my white tattered shirt I see the fresh brand , it's all red and looks like the Devils work.

The number representing which experiment I was , I didn't know who the other one was , or if there were others after me . Probably not. I dig my spoon into my food not really looking up at all. "You remind me of your mother." My father suddenly speaks up , I nod unsure how else too react.

KNOCK KNOCK

I hear someone at the door , I look up at him receiving a simple nod in return , I push the chair out from under the table, my eight-year old self walking over to the tall oak door. I tidy myself down , before opening the door. The man in a Military Police jacket doesn't even acknowledge me as he barges past me towards the study.

I follow him puzzled, he rummages through the desk annoyance clear on his face. That's when he pulls out my Father notes book. I recognise is as the one he wrote down his findings in about me. "What are you doing here in my house!" My father sneers at the man in the jacket.

"Mr (Fathers L/N) , you have been found guilty of treason against the king , by creating a monster. " The last sentence is aimed at me "Grab him!" he shouts

A group of men run in grabbing my Dad , tears now running down my face, pulling him outside in to the main square of Wall Maria . "Daddy!" I shout running out to him despite what he has done to me.

They kneel him down in the middle of the square. As a warning. I run over to my Father. By looking at him I can tell he has snapped "Break down the walls . " He says laughing hysterically. Before I can react a force pulls me back from around my waist .

BANG.

His body falls limp against the pavement blood leaking from his head . No noise filling the square anymore. My eyes ,blurring from the tears , scan the crowd. I notice a boy, watching on the scene his face blurred the only thing I can make out are his grey eyes and black jhair.

I wake up screaming , I can feel the tears running down my cheeks , years of pent up emotion just being let out at one time . Bringing my knees to my chest , lead against the wall shaking . I hear so many thought flying through my mind many seeming foreign too me.

I hear someone walk over to me . The mattress sinking down next to me . I open my eyes though blurry I can tell the figure is Levi. "Tch brat are you alright ?" his voice almost sounding worried . I examine him quickly black hair , Sliver eyes . Panic rises through my body. I push him away from me he was there ... he saw what happens to my Father. Confusion is riddled through his face. All I can think about is he knows what my father told me to do he knows my father.

"Go away!" I shout at him cowering away from him. Fear is the only thing I can think off . I hear Eren shouting across to us from his cell inaudible words . I swear to Maria if he touches her I will kill him. I hear a voice say in my head. But it is not my conscience.

Slap!

I feel his hand hit my cheek with a loud crack. The sting almost instant . " You don't speak to a higher up like that Cadet... " He sneers , but his eyes say something different , guilt and compassion . I must be seeing things. I bring my hand up to my cheek hissing with pain. He hit her. The voice says in my head like venom. I feel my eyes well up, vison getting blurry. But I quickly shake them away he can't see me cry he can't see my weakness. I think to myself. "Why where you crying." I single drop of compassion shown in his voice as he says this almost like he knows but doesn't want to say.

"Why do care?" My voice cracks at the end.

"Because I can care about some people." he mutters

"I had a night mare." I say back . He probably thinks I'm a baby now who lets their imagination scare themselves, not to mention a person who hears someone in their head. His eyes seem to somewhat soften when I say this.

Thats when Levi sit down next to me putting his arm over my shoulders. "We all get them sometimes." he coos me . Unsure what else to do I lean on him my restraints allowing this little movement. "Just remember it all been and gone ." he whisphers to me. I listen to his steady heart beat as it steady beat lulls me into sleep.
