The family car rocked up to the school in normal Ash family style. Late. Their mom gave them a quick goodbye as all four siblings hoped out and raced inside, except for Dianna who took her time. She was in no rush to get into class on her frist day of her new school.

But like everything, her siblings were the complete opposite.

Josh was the oldest, he was in his senior year this year. So was Marilin, she was 10 months younger then him, second oldest. Then we had Dianna, third oldest, second youngest, in junior year of high school. And then Oscar, sophmore, the youngest.

Katelynn Ash, their lovely dedicated mom, who had moved them from new york to chicago this year becuase her company moved.

It was the only income they had coming in, apart from Josh and Marilin's fund that they sometimes add in from there work money.

Dianna was planning on getting a job too this year, to help out more around the house, mom needed it. It wasnt like she was totally alone.

Their crazy aunt Karen had come to live with them about four years ago but she was more like a fifth child. She was always out partying and then sick with hangovers. Though she as handy when any of teh kids wnated to skip school, she was always helping them out.

"Hey Di..office is this way" Josh shoved her in the right direction. The four siblings were a lot different in many ways.

Josh was your typical hot guy, golden boy. He was tall, dark and handsome, he played football and was a big flirt.

Marilin was a girly girl and everyone knew it. She wore bright colours all the time and was always smiling or laughing. She was alwys being socialable and including herself in everything.

Oscar followed in josh's footstpes really. He was quiet handsome too, played football but everyone who really knew him, knew he was a geek.

And then Dianna, she was more..troubling. She was into heavy metal rock bands and always wore big black boots. She was always getting in trouble and seemed kind of fearless.

Dianna pushed her long dark hair back from her eyes so she could read her timetable. She had peferred her hair short, In summer, Dianna and her best friend Miriam, thought it would be cool to cut there hair short.

Dianna let Miriam do hers, it had grown since then but it was still short, the length reaching just to her shoulders. It was jagged and had purple in it, as Miraim also thought it would be a good idea to dye there hair.

The look worked for Dianna but Miraim not so much. She had blonde hair and it was thin, her hair just looked like it went through a bush full of paint, not pretty. After that she was pretty much band from seeing Dianna ever again.

"Hey..you remember what i told you" Josh pointed at Oscar as Oscar walked out of the office to his new class.

"Mar...good luck!"

She smiled and skipped along, then he came to Dianna, who was leaning against the wall, chewing gum.

"And Di..please try not get into to much trouble!"

"I'm making no promises" Dianna muttered.

"Come one Di...we're all trying really hard to make this work...for mom. So dont do it for me, or the others do it for mom..." And the left her in the hallway alone.

She didnt want to go to class so she decided to tour around the school. So thought she at least miss half an hour of class but she got cuaght 15 mins in.

A teacher was walking a troublesome looking guy to class when Dianna turned the corner, facing them. The guy seemed like he hadn't a care in the world, wearing his beanie and big boots like Dianna's.

"Excuse me young lady, what are you doing out of class?"

Dianna wasn't scared at all and knew exactly how to play this "Um..i'm sorry but i'm new..i got lost on my way to.." She looked at her sheet and pointed "room 105..english"

"Oh...sorry...um" The teacher fretted, and then looked at the guy "Where that's exactly where Mr. Garvey is going! Mr. garvey would you please show..."

"Dianna Ash"

"Mrs.Ash to her room and then actually stay in the class too"

Mr.Garvey didnt answer but began walking so Dianna followed giving the teacher a fake smile. They walked for a good while before talking.

"So your new?"

"No, i have alzimhers... i forgot where the classroom was.."

He smirked at this, Dianna was walking behind him as he glided down the hall way. He wore finger-less gloves and a dark denim jacket with a shirt underneath and jeans, with chains hanging off them.

"Well, i know you were'nt lost, you have a map right in your hand, a dummie could read it!"

"How'd you know i'm not a dummie?"

"Because, you pulled out a pretty clever act on Mr.Tonts back there. Dummies dont think that fast"

"Well, then you got me...i'm a genius"

"Didnt say that"

Dianna looked at him and rolled her golden eyes. He stopped at a door and swung it open, Dianna stepped inside to see a teacher and 16 othe pupils staring at her.

"Well, you must be Dianna Ash, our new student"

"Thats me" Dianna slumped into a desk at teh back. The teacher gave her a nice smile and then turned his attention to the guy.

"Mrs. Garvey, how nice you to join us"

"I try Jerry, i try"

"I told you not to call me that!"

"But its your name isnt it?"

"Mr. Garvey, do you wnat to be sent out of my class?"

"Its a dream of mine"

"Well fine then, dream come true..get out and get down to the principals office RIGHT NOW!" He bellowed.

The guy got up and turned to go, he gave Dianna a smile and winked at her and he was out of the room and the teacher continued teaching.

Dianna stared out of the class room's window door and watched as the guys walked down the hallway, calmly and with out a care in the world. He seemed very interesting, and she needed to know more.
