Dianna unplugged her earphones and put down the lead in the kitchen. She had just been walking Butch, her german shepard.

She had gotten Butch as a puppy and had fallen in love with him. Dianna wasnt teh kind of perosn who loved easily but when she loved, she loved hard.

She went on a long walk, to clear her head.

It had been her third day in school. She had talked to more people then Alex but to be honest, she liked spending time with him. He was easy to be around and was always up for fun.

She had had boyfriends before. She had had guys hit on her constantly. But She'd never met a guy like Alex, for some reason he was bugging her. He was just like her. He had smart comments and tended not to care about anything.

She couldnt stop thinking about him which annoyed her. And anytime anything or anyone annoyed her, she'd escape. She opened her window and sat at the very edge of it. Letting her feet dangled in mid air as she gazed out.

"Trying to get yourself killed..again?"

Dianna turned quickly at the sound of his voice and nearly fell out of teh window if it wasnt for his quick reflexes. He grabbed her two arms just as she was abut to fall and set her back down on her bedroom floor.

"Jesus, almosts gave me a heart attack tiger eyes" Alex muttered as he stared at her. She rolled her eyes at the new nickname he had now given her.

"Why are you here?"

"Spanish project"

"I mean, who let you into my house?"

"Oh, your mom, she really nice! Said i could stay for dinner if i liked.."

"Please tell me you said n-"

"I said yes! Spagetti and meat balls how can i turn that down..."

She looked at him in confusement, it was hard to know if he was serious her not. He was a hard person to read.

She rumaged through some stuff on her messy desk. She was trying to find the work when she felt his breath on her neck.

"What work have you down so far?" He asked, his warm breath breathing onto her exposed neck.

"Um..nothing much..." She managed to get out, starting to feel nervous around him. She began to look through a different pile.

This time he leaned over her, towering over her.

"Maybe...its...maybe its in my bag" She mummbled. He nodded in agreement.

"Yeah maybe! Hey, what your deal with these bottle caps?" Alex asked.

Dianna looked around at Alex checking out her bottle cap wall.

"I'm good at recycling!" Dianna searched her bag.

"And the wrappers?"

"Oh...longest recycled chain of wrappers!" Dianna pulled out the stream of wrappers stuck together "Its a bit weird"

"Its awesome!" Alex smirked at her. Her face flushed red so she turned back to her bag.

"Not everyone thinks that!"

"Why not? It's art!"

Dianna smiled a little "people don't really get....me"

"Join the club!"

Alex and Dianna stared at each other for awhile before a voice broke the silence from down stairs.

"Dinner!"
