A few months later

"Do you want me to hold your hair back?"  Alex shouted through the bathroom door, that had been locked by Dianna.

"No..go to training Alex! I'll be fine!" Dianna said weakly.

"You sure? You don't sound fine!"

"Alex..go!" She shouted strongly but Alex was not convinced.

"Fine...I'll call you later, ok?"

No response.

Alex was tempted to stay home and take care of Dianna but big training was coming up. The super bowl training actually. The team was counting on Alex to win this year.

"Hey, you finally showed up!" Connor yelled, tossing a ball to one of his team-mates, while Alex made his way onto the pitch. The whole team were training today.

"Yeah, Dianna...been sick"

"Oh...not nice.." He passed it to Alex.

"Yeah, says she got it from all the Mexican food we had over in Mexico!"

"Ah...the 2nd honeymoon.."

"Yeah...more like the disaster honeymoon. I got bit by some stupid monkey and now Dianna's sick..remind me,  recommended Mexico?"

"Carlson"

"Oh yeah." Alex looked around the pitch and finally spotted Carlson "Hey Carlson"

"Di..i'm home" Alex shouted, dropping his bag on the ground. He was about to go upstairs when Dianna appeared from the  kitchen.

She was all kitted out in sports gear and was jogging on the spot.

"Hey, wanna go for a run?"

She didn't wait for an answer and jogged to the door. Alex frowned at her.

"I thought you were sick..."

"No..it was just some bug..thing"

"Ok...well, maybe you should still rest, might not be gone!"

"I'm pretty sure it's gone..now are you up for a run or not?"

Alex didn't know what was up with her but the best way to find out was to stay with her "Sure"

"Lets go!"

Dianna sprinted out of the house and it took Alex a while to catch up. They ran across roads and parks and though Alex tried to talk to Dianna, there was no use.

"Are you sure you feeling ok?"

"Yeah, why wouldn't i be?"

"I don't know ..maybe because you never run..not with me anyway!"

"Well, look at us, we're couple running. God, i never thought me and you would couple run!"

"Yeah..." Alex frowned "crazy"

Dianna sped up which made Alex stop. She turned to see this and jogged back to him "What's the  matter, can't keep up?"

"Dianna, what's going on?"

Dianna stopped jogging on the spot "Nothing"

"Dianna"

She sighed and stopped jogging on the spot. Her golden eyes looked deep into Alex's. "I.....I've been getting sick in the mornings Alex!"
