Gulf’s POV

“Babe I got to go now. I have a meeting today. See you later." Mew said as he gave me a smack on my lips.

He hurriedly went out of the house. He didn’t even bother to eat the breakfast that I prepared for him.
I sighed deeply. I went to the room where Rain was still sleeping.

“Baby Rain wake up!” I gently caressed his face.

He moved and opened his eyes.

“Good morning mommy!” He greeted me. He extended his cute arms to hug me.

I hugged him back. “Good morning too baby. You’re so sweet huh?”
He kissed me on my cheek.

“Where’s daddy mommy?” he searched for his father.

“Your daddy left early. He has a meeting today.” I explained to him.
He rubbed his eyes and smiled as he looked at me.

“Come here. Wash your face so you could eat breakfast already.” I carried him towards the bathroom so he could wash his face.

After he washed his face, we went down to the kitchen . I also eat with him. While I’m eating my phone buzzed. I received a text from Mew.

“Babe sorry I’ll be going home late later tonight!” he texted.

I replied to his text and asked him “why?”

Instead of replying to my text he called me.

“Yes babe?” I said as I answered his call.

“Something came up babe and Mr. Chen invited me to his house for dinner.  He said he has something important to discuss with me.That's why I'll be going home late.” he said on the other line.

“Oh okay babe, Take care then!”

“Thanks. I’m telling you this cause I don’t want you to wait for me okay.” I just said yes to him. After talking to him on the phone, I continue eating my food.

“Mommy, is daddy the one who called?” Rain asked me.

“Yes baby.”

“What did he say?”

“He'll be home late, that’s what he said baby.”

He didn’t ask me again and just continued eating.

Rain and I have nothing to do all day. We just stay here in the house.
I played with him all day.

“Rain that’s enough already!” He's playing soccer here in their huge garden.

I’m actually teaching him how to play. I remembered during my high school days, I was a varsity player during that time.

I wasn’t able to finish college. I only reached up to second year college because I couldn't handle and manage my work and study at the same time.

I chose to work so that I could be able to provide for my daily needs.
If you think about it, I’m an orphan. I’m living all by myself. No one supports me but only myself.
I don’t have any relatives here that I could ask for help.

Anyway, I don’t want to make my life miserable because of my past life.
I’m already happy for all that I have right now.

Everything went smooth to me. Having this kind of job with a big salary, I even had a relationship with my boss. It hasn’t been that long since we first met amd work with him. That time we were always fighting.
