WBS: Chapter 31

Mew's POV

It's been a year and a half passed and yet, no sign of Gulf.

I can't find Gulf. Where the heck is he hiding?

I even hired a detective to look for him and yet, I have no news about him or where the fuck is he hiding.

In just over a year, so much had changed. One of that was to stopped looking for him. Because no matter what I do, he really doesn't want to show up.

My body and mind wants to give up searching all over about Gulf but my heart telling me not to. I missed him so damn much.

By the way, Kathlyn is already living with us. Since Gulf left me, she hadn't stopped  coaxing me. She hadn't stopped asking for forgiveness she's been asking for how many years from me.

That's why, I let her live with me and Rain. I allowed her to return to our lives. We are now living in the same roof.

I was busy reading my files here in office when someone called me daddy, no other than Rain.

He's with his mother.

"Hi daddy!" He greeted me warmly.

He ran towards me and hugged me. I hugged him back.

"How's your day with mommy?" I asked him.

"It was fine! We went to amusement park!" He happily reported to me.

I know Kath is fulfilling her duty as a mother from the time she left Rain.

"Mew, I bought your favorite food!" She handed me a bag.

"Thanks!"

She sat in the empty seat in front of me.

"You haven't told me that you and Rain are coming here!" I said while starting to eat the food she brought.

"Your son has been requesting me to come here. Did we bothered you?"

"No! No! It's okay. Actually I'm done with my work."

She smiled. I just noticed that she looked pale. Sweat was forming in her forehead.

I stopped as I was eating when she suddenly fainted. I rush to run toward her.

"Mommy!" Rain shouted. He started to cry.

"Stop crying baby! Let's bring your mommy to the hospital!" I told him.

I lift her up out of the office and hurried to the car. Rain was just next to me.

"Sir what happened to ma'am Kathlyn?" Butler asked me in shock.

"I don't know. Let's hurry and take her to the hospital!"

He drove along the way to the nearest hospital. Rain was still crying.

She immediately taken to the emergency room when we arrived at the hospital.

"Daddy is mommy will be okay?" He can't hide his worries to his mom.

"I don't know baby. Let's just wait for the doctor okay!" I tried to calm him down. He was sitting next to me patiently waiting for the doctor to come out.

We're waited about 30 minutes here.

I got up from my seat when the doctor came out of the emergency room.

"Doc how is she?" I immediately asked him as soon as he came out from that room.

"I'm sorry to tell you, the patient's brain cancer is already in stage 4!" he said that surprise me.
