"THE WEDDING"

Gulf’s POV

Today is the day for me. Finally, I am getting married to the man I love. Who would have thought a man like me will love a man also but that’s not a big issue for me.

What’s most important is we both love each other. We understand each other.

By the way, we held our wedding here at Tagaytay, in Mew’s private beach resort. I requested it to him. So basically it’s a beach wedding.
I fixed my suit. Under my suit is a white polo with a silver bow necktie and a black pants.

Mew wore the same as mine.
I took a deep breath and calmed my heart from beating so fast and hard since earlier.

The set-up of our wedding is so beautiful. Simple yet elegant. Our wedding themes are white and green.
There’s a giant tree on both of my sides with a white door. It serves as my entrance.

In the middle you will see different colors of petals being scattered.
I tightened my grip on the flower as I slowly walked closer to the altar. In every step that I take, all of my memories together with Mew, good or bad, all of it flashbacked in my mind.

As I walked closer and closer, my nervousness kept on increasing but at the same time my excitement.
I roamed my eyes around and to the people that came to my wedding.
And there I saw Mr. and Mrs. Suppasit smiling at me. Both of them are happy with us getting married.

I smiled back at them. I’m so happy that finally, from this day on, I’m officially part of their family.
I’m quite sad that my parents are not here. They didn’t witness my wedding. But I know wherever they are, I know that they are happy for me. I can feel that.

I also saw Rain with them. My little lice. He’s smiling widely at me.
My gaze went to Type. The only treasure left in my life. My twin brother. He’s smiling sweetly at me.
He’s beyond proud of me. We were making it up to each other for those times that we’ve got separated for so long.

If he has free time, he’s helping me with my business. I continue walking. I’m almost near to the altar. I could see Mew not too far from me.

When I got close to him, he held out his left hand. I stared at his hand for a few seconds before I held it with my arm.

We both smiled at each other.

This is it!

No more turning back. My whole life will be tied to this man beside me.
And I’m ready to be tied with him. Even to the after life.

The priest began to speak in front of us. We already exchange I do’s to each other.

“Wear your rings and tell your vows to each other.”  the priest said.

Rain is our ring bearer. We got it from him when he came towards us.
Mew gives first his vow.

“I, Mew Suppasit, wants you to wear this ring as sign of my love for you.”
He paused and stared into my eyes.

“Gulf, I’m happy that you’re now my lifetime partner. I won’t promise anything to you. The only thing I can do is to love you with all my heart.Take care of you, be with you always, and to stay with you through good times and bad times. Just call my name and I will be there for you. I love you so much, forever.” he said with full of emotion then he put the ring on me.

I badly want to cry. Even the words he said were simple yet it penetrated deep in my heart and soul.
It’s my turn.

“I, Gulf Kanawut, wants you to wear this ring as a sign of my respect and love for you.” Just like him, I paused for a while and stared at him.
