Wanted: Baby Sitter (Completed)

WBS: Chapter 9

Gulf’s POV

We’re here already at the amusement park and both Rain and I are excited.
Mew and Butler are just following us behind.

“Wow! Look mommy, can I ride on that?” he asks me while pointing to the carousel.

“Ask your daddy!” I said to him.

“Daddy can I?” he then asked his father.

“Of course son. Do you want me to go with you?”

“Yes daddy!” he said happily.

Rain couldn’t contain his excitement as he and his father went to the carousel.

They were holding hands as they went near there. I can’t help but to smile as I watch them.

“This is the first time I saw Mr. Suppasit happy since after his girlfriend left him.” Butler said to me.

As much as I don’t want to sneak my nose about Mew’s life but I am curious also on why Rain’s mother is not with them anymore.

“What happened to Rain's mother?” I asked Butler.

We are just watching the two while Rain is enjoying riding the carousel.

“Right after Rain was born, she left the two. Actually, Mr. Suppasit supposedly married already but sad to say she left him.” he said.

“Starting that time, he became hot-headed. He even can’t smile. But these past few days, he change. He change in a good way.” he added.

I just nodded to him. Maybe one of the reasons why he changed is because of his boyfriend Art.

I wonder if Butler knows about their relationship.

“Do you know Art?” I didn’t know why I asked him this question though.

“Yes sir! I know that they are together.” he answered me.

I felt a little pain in my chest on that thing. I don’t know the reason why I felt this.

I tried to push away from my mind whatever this  thing I’ve felt.

“Does Rain's mother ever visited him? I asked Butler again.

He shook his head as his answer. Is that why the kid wanted so much to have a mommy? And sadly I was the one who he saw as his mother.

Do I look like a woman in his eyes? What made me wonder was even to myself I am already getting use on this set with this kid. Being a Nanny and at the same time as his figured mommy.

“Mommy! Did you see me riding on a horse?” He asks as he runs towards me after they rode the carousel.

I smiled at him “Yes baby!”

I then look at Mew who has a serious face. I instantly turned my gaze away from him.

Rain pulled me and we went to the ferris wheel for children.

“Let’s ride mommy, daddy please?” he said.

Mew and I give in to him. Maybe we both think the same way that we should give what the kid wants to do here in the amusement park.

We then rode on it after Mew paid the ticket.
I assisted Rain going inside. Exactly as I stepped my one foot going inside the ferris wheel I was tripped.
I closed my eyes as I expected to fall on the floor of it but I felt a hand hug my waist.

“Careful!” Mew said near to my ear.
He caught me. I felt  electricity travel through my body from the position we are in.

“T-thanks!” I said, stuttering to him.
He then assisted me going inside.
I can’t still pull myself together even though the ride started. I almost become tone deaf as I could only hear how my heart beat so fast.
