Chapter 21

 ZOEY P.O.V.

Today's the first full day that Addison's been with us. I still can't believe she's my sister. Actually, more like I can't believe I have a sister. Since she's new to the family Daddy is talking to her about the rules and telling her about my aunts and uncles while Mum takes a nap and Chase and I play video games. "Do you think Mum and Dad are going to get married?" Chase asked me. "I don't know. Maybe. They should. I mean they obviously love each other but they don't realize it." "True. I know what we should do! We should make them go on a date and have one of our uncles to come watch us." ":That's a great idea! You get Mum and I'll get Daddy. Then we make sure they agree. Okay?" "Okay. Now come on, lets go." We went downstairs to see Addison holding on to Daddy and crying while Mum rubbed her back. "Maybe we should try later." Chase whispered to me. "Good idea." I whispered back before we went back upstairs. I wonder why Addison was crying.

ADDISON P.O.V.
When I woke up I went downstairs and saw Liam sitting at the table drinking coffee and on a laptop. He looked at me as I walked into the room and smiled. "Morning Addison." He said. "Morning." "Did you sleep well?" I nodded my head yes before sitting across from him. "Hungry?" He asked. "Very." "Would you like some pancakes?" "Cereal's fine." "OK." He made me a bowl of cereal since I didn't know where anything was and handed it to me. "Thank you." "No problem." After I ate Chelsea had come downstairs and made herself a cup of tea and kissed Liam on the cheek and sat down next to him. "Morning." She said with a smile. "Morning." I said quietly. "Today I was thinking my mates could com over so you could meet them. Is that okay?" Liam asked a few moments later. "Yeah. That's fine I guess." I told him, shrugging my shoulders. "If you don't feel comfortable with that they can come over another day." "No, it's fine. I promise. I'm just not good around a lot of people at once." "Don't worry, we'll be there so at least you can come to one of us if you don't feel comfortable. Okay?" "Okay." As I sat there I started to get tears in my eyes. I'm finally with people that care about me and want me to be safe I realized. "Addison, you okay?" Liam asked. "Yeah. I'm just raking it all in. The fact that I have people that care about me." I said before I started crying. Liam pulled me into his arms and let me cry. "You're okay. We're here. It's alright." He said in a soothing voice. I felt another arm touch me and realized it was Chelsea rubbing my back. After a few minutes I calmed down but still let Liam hug me. "You okay now?" He asked. "Yeah." "Good,I don't want you to ever feel like you can't come to me or Chelsea. Alright?" "Mhm." He kissed my head before letting me go. Today's a good day I guess.
