"You walked out of here all high and mighty that day that I asked you to go." Alexander scoffed as he tapped his finger on his armrest. "What made you change your mind now?"

"I need a getaway." Tharn replied before sighing as he thought back the memory of Type and Puifai that was burned in his brain. "When do you want me to leave."

"The party is next week, Monday. I'll book your ticket for Saturday." Alexander picked up his tea cup and took another sip of his tea.

"Book it for this Wednesday. I'd much rather leave soon." Tharn turned around and began walking back towards the front door.

"When are you ever going to stay for Dinner? Tanya would like it you know." Maria set her tea cup on the coffee table as she used a slightly anticipating tone.

"One of these day." Tharn simply replied before leaving the house.

Tharn was in no mood to go back to his dorm yet so he drove to the bar that his friend, Jeed, worked at. However Jeed was actually more than a friend, she was more like a sister to him. They knew each other for 10 years and their relationship never wavered.

Tharn parked his car and walked into Jeed's bar, immediately getting greeted by Jeed herself with a big smile on her face. "Tharn!!!" She waved excitedly as she put down the cup she was wiping.

"Hey, Jeed." Tharn sat himself in front of her at the high tables. Jeed's smile faded when she saw the angry look on Tharn's face.

"What happened?" She asked, leaning forward with her arms on the counter.

"You wouldn't believe it but I found my mate." A small smile tugged on his lips as he sighed, glancing at her for a second.

"Oh my gosh yaay!!! But why the long face?? I thought something bad happened.." She picked up the cup again and continued wiping it.

"It's Type." He continued, rubbing his forehead in frustration.

"Oh damn.. that homophobic boy with anger issues that you were after for a while?" Jeed set down the dry cup she had in her hand and picked up a wet cup to wipe. "Wait that's good news though right?"

"No.. because no matter what I do he'll always hate me. A-and just now I saw him kissing a girl at the club." Tharn sat back in his chair, hitting the backrest a little harshly. "When I think I'm making progress.. it somehow goes all wrong and I'm left coming up with all kinds of possibilities that I somehow did something to mess it up.." Jeed grabbed a dry glass and poured some whisky into it before putting it in front of Tharn.

"Tharn.. I don't think you're the one who's messing up." Jeed sighed, picking up where she left off with wiping the glasses. "I think that your omega has to fess up. If he can't see your sincerity and feelings then someone needs to slap some sense into him." Jeed reached over and stroked Tharn's head. "What happened after they kissed tho? Were they smiling? Hugging? Did he push her?"

"I... I-I don't know... I kinda left immediately when I saw them... I really couldn't think of anything else until I somehow reached my car." Tharn swished his drink around in his cup and took a sip.

"Oh well then... don't think too much.. it's not gonna get you anywhere.." She advised, side-eyeing Tharn who was in a daze and nodding at her words as if really dwelling on them. He downed the rest of his drink and put the money under his cup before leaving, bidding his farewells to Jeed before he left.

"Type are you okay?" Klui patted Type on the shoulder, breaking his out of his thoughts. "Are you drunk? Do you want to leave?"
