"Was what I said not even 20 minutes ago not enough for you?" Tharn said, anger in his tone and expressions. Type pulled the man back by his arm, surprised.

"Hey... clam down.. it's okay." Type spoke up, squeezing his arm. "Yes, please come in." Type opened the door wider and allowed Maria to come inside. "Can I get you something?"

"Uhm, just water if that's okay." Maria sat down at the dining table with her purse at the foot of the table. Type got her a glass of water and set it on the table in front of her. Maria drank half the glass and put it down before looking ahead at Type. "I owe you an apology.." she spoke up, placing a hand on Type's. "After what you said that day, it really sank in me and I really wanted to better myself as a mother." She paused, glancing over at Tharn who was in the living room, seated on a couch while occupied his phone.

"I-I really never knew that my husband did such a thing to your family." She let out an anxious sigh as she clasped her hands together.

"I believe you... although you may have been the one who approached me that day, now I'm able to see that you have more consideration that Tharn's father." Type nodded, nodding.

"You've approached Type before??" Tharn questioned, approaching the dining table with an angry expression on his face.

"I'll admit, yes. I bribed him with money. B-But I don't regret that day! Because Type opened my eyes to my faults." Maria defensively stammered, hoping to ease Tharn's anger.

"Yeah? And how do I know this ain't just one of dad's gambits?" Tharn crossed his arms over his chest.

"I love Alexander but his cruelty had no limits.. and at the time, I turned a blind eye to it." Maria hung her head low, fidgeting her fingers. "I even raised my children with the same disciplines. Now both my children hate me and it that doesn't open my eyes then nothing can."

"All I've wanted for 22 years of my life is for something like this... b-but it never happened, and you know why?" Tharn questioned, tightening his fist.

"Tharn-" Type sighed, grabbing Tharn's hand.

"-Because you never thought that maybe a child should be raised with love!" That's exclaimed, scoffing at his mother who was hurt. But she knew he was right, her manner in raising the kids had a tendency to come off that way.

"I made mistakes... and I don't expect you to forgive me or forget that right now... but I want you to give me a chance to make it right." She begged, clasping Tharn's hand in between both of hers. "Please Tharn." Tharn was fully ready to say no but he looked over at his boyfriend who looked at him with a comforting look on his face that no matter what he choose, he would always be by Tharn's side.

"Fine. But only because this is all I've wanted for my whole life," Tharn nodded, pulling his hand away from his mother who looked taken aback by his reply. Tharn could have said no. But when he looked at Type, all he could think about other than the look on Type's face was the relationship he had with his mother. Tharn could only dream of something like that. And if his mother came knocking at his door asking for another chance then he would be an idiot to say no.

Maria jumped out of her seat and walked around to Tharn before dropping to her knees and hugging her son's legs, crying. "I-I don't deserve a son like you, please forgive your mother! I'm shameful of myself and my actions. But no matter what I did, I still loved you from the bottom of my heart."

"G-Get up! The floor is dirty!" Tharn quickly stood up, pulling his mother to her feet. His heart filled with content as if a big whole was being filled. "I learnt that the second time round always brings better outcomes." He rubbed his neck nervously, glancing away.
