The coffee shop was bustling with people. Seemed as though today was particularly busy but Type couldn't think about why it was so busy because of the daggers being thrown into his person.

"To what do I owe you such visit, ma'am?" Type asked, fearing that if he made eye contact with the woman, he would turn to stone.

"Hm. I was just curious as to what kind of person would my son associate himself with romantically." Her judgmental eyes studying every visible area of his self. "My expectations were never high to begin with so I'm not too astonished with the results."

"S...Sorry?" Type asked, lips tugging into a confused smile.

"What do your parents do?" She questioned, crossing her arms over her chest as if trying to establish superiority.

"My dad owns an inn. It's the most popular in their city. And my mother works alongside him." Type replied, waiting to see what judgmental comment she would make next.

"Good. I was hoping it would terrible."She slightly raised one eyes brow as he reached into her bag and pulled out an envelope.

"You've gotta be kidding." Type muttered to himself as his jaw dropped.

"I'll keep it simple. My husband and I did some background on your family and we don't think you're suitable for our son. Let alone being a man." She slid the thin envelope across the table and in front of Type who was still gathering his thoughts. "Don't get us wrong. We don't mind gay people. We just don't want our son to be labeled as one. It doesn't look good on the family." She elegantly crossed one leg over the other, eyes watching the very lost young man.

"You know Tharn's gay right?" Type scoffed as he slowly began to feel the heat rush to his head.

"If so then I'd feel better choosing a much better suitor who comes from money rather than the street, Pardon me." She replied, hand on her chest as if the 'pardon me' was supposed to make everything better.

"Lady, I know.. that you didn't just say that." Type's lips tugged into a daunting smile. "PaRdOn mE M'LaDy for the harsh words but I think you need to get your head out of the clouds."

"I beg your pardon?" Her back stiffened as her lips parted a bit upon hearing such words.

"I know you're my lover's mother and I was gonna be nice but just who the fuxk do you think you are that you think you're entitled to disrespect my family." He let out a laugh as he grabbed the envelop off the table and tore it right down the middle before dropping the paper in his cup of water.

"Young man-" she shifted to the edge of her seat, grabbing the arm rest for support.

"-Nah! screw that noise. You don't get to talk after the pure shxt that just came out of your mouth." Type slammed his hand on the table, quickly shutting Maria up. "You think that because you're Tharn's mother, you get a say in his relationships?? Let me tell you now that such an opportunity is only given to actual mothers." He balled his hands into fist as he held back saying the worst. "You don't get to come at me with this bullshit that you planned with your husband just because your son keeps his life a secret from you." With that Type immediately got up out of his seat and stepped out from in front of his chair.

"My mother doesn't want me to be gay either but when I told her I was with Tharn, she didn't for once disrespect Tharn or his family. She told me to bring him over for dinner. Do better, Lady. Tharn just wants a loving mother. You can't go out your whole life coming to terms with the fact that your son hates you." Type sighed before leaving the cafe.

"You said what now?!" Gun jumped out of his seat in shock while the other two stared at him in utter disbelief.
