There stood the young Sarawat with his father's gun in his hand. He brought his trembling hand up to aim at the man. "W..Why did you do it?" He winced as a sudden picture of his mother's dead body flashed in his mind.
"Who is this kid??.. Hey punk, put the gun down." The same man that he had seen in front of his house stood in front of Sarawat with his hands in his pockets as if he wasn't being held at gunpoint.
But his words as the murmurs of the other men gathering around that man, were like a blur to Sarawat. He was being overtaken with anger and devastation.
Bang
He pulled the trigger, sending a bullet into the man's heart, catching everyone off guard. They didn't think he would do it.
"Brother!!" They all crowd around him and supported the collapsing man. But this wasn't nearly enough for what they did to his mother.
Bang
Bang
Bang
He fired two more times into that one man's body, killing him instantly.
"Grab him!!" One of the other men ordered, throwing his arms out. Two men charged at Sarawat who fired two bullets; one, into one guy's head and the other into the other guy's heart. He was no noob at firing a gun, that was the second mistake these scums made.
The young boy turned around and fled from the scene. But his feet stopped at the nearby police station which wasn't too far from the site. He looked at the gun in his hands that were covered in his mother's blood. He felt no guilt or remorse for what he had done but the guilt of delaying his time to go home after school was eating at his soul like a parasite. None of this would have happened if he protected his mother with his life. But he deserved this. He didn't deserve to live in a comfortable home after compromising his role as his mother's son like that. He was apologetic towards his mother, that she had to have ended up with a son like him.
She died because he abandoned his mother and no matter how he looked at it, that's all it came down to. Sarawat shuffled into the police station who immediately pulled out their tasers and guns upon seeing Sarawat, who was covered in blood, holding a gun.
"Drop the gun, son!" One of the police men moved towards him and gestured for the kid to put his gun down, with his gun.
"I'm... here to report a crime." Sarawat lifted his head weakly as he looked up at the cop with heavy eyelids. The police officer began to lower his arms, as he gestured to the others in the station to do the same.
"Okay let's talk about this after you put the gun down." He stated, cautiously moving towards the young man. Sarawat dropped his gun.
"I shot and killed 3 men, fired 4 bullets into one man and shot the other two in vital areas. They're at the abandoned construction site, 4 blocks down."
-
After this. Sarawat was instantly proven guilty at the trial because he had admitted the crime but it he wasn't given a big sentence since those men had just killed Sunitra earlier that day. But the happy and energetic Sarawat that existed after all this happened, never came back.
Even after he was released from the facility, it took Man and Boss 2 years before Sarawat would open up and smile around them again. Pha and Beam's parents turned him away when he tried to visit them. They were forbidden from seeing him ever again.
Red, who spend everyday working slowly started to loose himself until Sarawat returned from the detention centre and began working along side his father, who slowly began to regain himself.
