ENJOY

george sighed, scrunching his eyebrows at the amount of people in the train, all crowded and close to eachother.

he hated going on nyc buses, even though he was pratically forced to do it since he had to get to his photography studio somehow.

the things he did for his dream. ( LAUGHS )

in his thinking, he didn't notice the gorgeous blonde staring down at him curiously. the emerald eyes scamned george's face, taking in the soft, messy dark brown hair and the eyes that matched with it. he stared at george's pink, smooth lips that sighed inaudibly once in a while.

they both didn't notice how close they were getting together as more passengers boarded the bus.

a rough, calloused hand slightly grazed a slim, graceful hand that jumped in surprise.

"ah, sorry, i didn't mean to," the taller man spoke, practically towering over the shorter.

"oh-! uh, it's all good." george replied nervously, taken aback at the gorgeous face that stared down at him curiously.

"his face would be perfect to model for my photography," george thought, slowly mustering up confidence to talk to the man and possibly ask him if he was interested to model for george.

unbeknowest to him again, the taller continued to stare and admire george's figure and features.

the black, silk gloves and fussed-up dress-shirt fit him well. not to mention the slim, dark pants and sleek black shoes that he wore enchanted dream. it wasn't a surprise to see that fashion sense in new york, but the face is what drew dream to george.

once again, the two strangers were rather close. hands grazed eachother's every now and then, hot at the touch. dream was close enough to george that he could practically smell his clean, lavender scent that seemed to intoxicate dream.

while the blonde was admiring george, george was worrying and overthinking his offer to dream. was he going to do it? george mentally cursed himself for being too shy and indecisive.

eventually, george looked up, breaking from his thoughts. only to be met with the same face he pondered about during the ride.

his warm eyes stared into the bright ones, both a curious look on their faces.

"i-i'm sorry-"

before the blonde could apologize for staribg, the train jerked backwards and george was tossed into dream's chest. ( wonder how that happened😱😱 )

"i'm so sorry-"

"it's fine-"

"no, i apologiz-"

all of a sudden a old lady sitting on the chairs next to them shushed them, signalling to her newpaper.

the two young men looked at her, then back at eachother, then her, then at george's previous spot, that was now taken by a new mob of people who just recently walked in.

"i don't mean to be rude, but i believe that you're stuck with me for the next 30 minutes if your going to the last stop." dream said nervously, smiling at george.

"oh, it's fine. o-only if you're okay with it!" ( consent ugh so hot )

"yes, i don't mind."

"why don't we introduce ourselves?"

"oh, i go by dream. but my friends call me clay." dream winked, staring at george, who undoubtedly blushed. dream chuckled at this, and george blushed harder.

"i like art, and i own a studio on varick street."

"i'm george, and i do photography! i also own a studio near varick street, too."

"really? we should work together sometime!"

"i'm down! actually, right before we had this conversation i was gonna ask you if you'd like to model for me, haha"

"really? am i that handsome?"

"shut up!"

"i was kidding, shorty"

"hey !!"

so the two got lost in their conversation, indulgingthemselves in talk about work, art, history, teasing eachother, as if they had been friends for centuries. it did feel like that, anyway.

the pair still stood in close proximity, hands brushing eachother every few finutes, warm puffs of air emitting from the two. dream was very aware of the short brunette standing under him as george was aware of the tree that stood planted behind him.

eventually, sadly, the bus had reached their destination and most of the other passengers had left, only a meager handful of people that were still out at the time.

"well, i guess we'll be parting pathways, good lad," dream joked, covering up his disappointment.

"yeah, i had a nice time."

the two stared into eachothers eyes, neither really wanting to leave. it was the large lock that reminded them both that they had to go.

"oh shit, i didn't realize it was this late! sorry for swearing but i gotta go," george suddenly said frantically.

"oh it's all good,"

before the brunette ran off, he paused and fumbled with a small peice of paper and scribbled something on it.

"here, call me sometime."

before dream could say anything, george had already ran off into the night, leaving a trail of soft butterflies fluttering behind him.

he read the neat, loopy letters and felt his heart warm at the small smiley face in the bottom corner of the scrap.

dream stood there, holding the scrap of paper near his heart, and softly, mindlessly waved goodbye to george.
